Gold and Silver medals stayed with their accustomed owners over Easter, the Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S2, but Apple’s older iPhone 4 overcame its recent poor form in the charts to reclaim the bronze!
BlackBerry’s flagship Bold 9900, which propped up the table at tenth before our week’s break, stormed up the sales charts to attain 4th place this week. Meanwhile, Apple’s iPhone 3GS climbed to 5th position. This means Apple placed 3 of its handsets among the top 5 sellers this week – quite an achievement!
Sony’s Xperia S, which attained a bronze medal in our last chart, fell from the podium and carried on falling until it reached 6th position, where it found its level and fought off strong sales from BlackBerry’s Curve 9300, which ranked 7th.
Two handsets from HTC’s critically acclaimed One Series stormed onto the charts this week, with the HTC One X and HTC One S claiming 8th and 9th places respectively. These new handsets are hotly tipped to rise up the sales charts in the coming weeks…
Finally, Samsung’s ever-popular budget Android, the Galaxy Ace, sneaked onto our charts once again at 10th.
See you next week to find out if Apple can keep 3 handsets in the top 5 and how far HTC’s new smartphones can climb!
