Orange has just announced the launch of its new QWERTY Orange Hollywood handset, due for release shortly. The Hollywood features a 2.4 inch touchscreen with Orange interface that is geared towards messaging and social networks, with Facebook, Twitter and others being displayed in a special social feed app.
The Hollywood has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, although there is no 3G. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera, video messaging support, FM radio and music player and support for 32GB microSD. As the name would suggest, the Hollywood is only available on the Orange network.
Nokia has also launched the Nokia 113, a basic feature phone that includes internet, social networking apps, Bluetooth and a camera. There are apps and instant messaging available, as well as music support, and web browsing is enhanced through the use of compressed pages, for more speed and less data charges. The Nokia 113 will be available this month.
