The HTC One S, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Nokia PureView have all just picked up awards from the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). EISA is an association of 50 independent special interest magazines from 20 European countries covering a range of topics from audio, video, in-car stereos, mobile phones and home theatre systems.
HTC One S has just been announced as the best Social Media Phone for 2012 and 2013, thanks to its excellent support for social media and its easy photo sharing on popular social networks.
The Nokia PureView picked up the award for the best Mobile Photo Achievement. The PureView is an obvious choice for its unprecedented 41 megapixel camera that provides the best digital zoom on any smartphone camera. Nokia has plans to bring this camera technology to its Windows powered Lumia phones in the coming months.
The award for Mobile Phone of the Year went to the Samsung Galaxy S3, which has introduced a large number of new concepts into the industry and completely set the bar for all future phones. The Galaxy S3 has been the most pre-ordered gadget in history and the fastest selling Android phone of all time.
