Samsung announced earlier this month that it would unveil the long awaited sequel to the Galaxy Note at a Samsung Mobile Unpacked event on August 29th. An image of what is claimed to be the Galaxy Note 2 has now appeared online for the first time.
The device seems to be quite similar in appearance to the recently launched Galaxy Note 10.1. The Note 2 will feature a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen, which makes it larger than the original Note, but still much smaller than the Note 10.1.
It is also thought to come with a quad-core Exynos processor and 2GB RAM, Android Jelly Bean and Samsung’s S-Pen stylus.
Despite initial criticism about its size, the original Galaxy Note has been one of the most popular products in Samsung’s Galaxy range, racking up well over 10 million sales since its launch, making the Note 2 perhaps the most lusted after Samsung gadget after the Galaxy S3.
