The Nokia 6303 Classic follows in the stylish footsteps of the 6300, offering good all-round features and connectivity, with a few notable improvements. The TFT screen features an impressive 16m colours, making for an excellent, clear display, and the 3.15MP camera takes crisp, sharp images.
The 6303 Classic should appeal to fans of the 6300, though whether it’s worth the upgrade will depend on the needs of the user.
Nokia released the brand new Nokia 6303 Classic, which is the clear successor to the Nokia 6300 and the Nokia 6300i. The Nokia 6303 supports tri – band and has Nokia Maps pre-installed so that you can make use of the GPS navigation facilities. The looks are as modest as that of its predecessor, so let’s see what the new Nokia 6303 Classic has in store for us.
The nokia 6303 Classic borrows the modest looks from its predecessor, but slightly improves on that, mainly with the black colour scheme. The keypad is backlighted in light blue and all the alphanumeric keys are separate from each other, meaning its easy to identify which key is which without having to look at the phone itself. This makes it easy for texting fast. The screen and the other keys (i.e. the call keys, the navi keys and the 5 way directional key) are all raised above the alphanumeric keys. The volume rocker is situated on the right of the phone, while the switch on / switch off key is located at the top. The speaker, camera and the flash are located one beside each other on the back, just like it was on the Nokia 6300 and the Nokia 6300i. The 3.5 mm headset jack, the microUSB port and the charger port are all located at the bottom of the phone.
The Nokia 6303 Classic is a worthy successor to the highly popular Nokia 6300. How Nokia manage to get those 6300 lovers to give their phone away for this one will be highly interesting, but the specs sheet, along with the good looks, should surely tempt a lot of people and should give the likes of the MotoROKR E8 a good run for their money.
