Details

Business users are the primary focus of this phone, but that´s not to say it doesn´t have plenty to offer to others. For those of you interested primarily in business use though, you´ll be most interested by the Mobile VPN and the access to Ovi Files. The former offers you an easy, safe and reliable way to link up to your company´s intranet system. This means your phone can become an integral part of your daily office life. This functionality also comes with Call Connect support, which lets you connect the mobile to corporate phone systems, enabling you to have a single number and single voicemail box. Using Ovi Files on your E52 let´s you access all the photos, music, PDF and Office documents that live on your desktop or laptop. While this is an incredibly useful function, it is only a 60-day trial that comes with the E52, and there will be costs involved if you decide to continue with the service.

Aside from that, the phone has a wealth of other functions that will appeal to the broader user, and there´s no need to believe that if you aren´t a business user, you won´t find plenty to be happy about with this phone. High amongst the reasons for believing so is the battery life. Thanks to energy-saving and efficiency developments made by Nokia, the E52 has one of the longest standby and talk times available on any phone currently on the market. So whether you´re away from home or the office for long periods, you can rest easy knowing you don´t need to take your charger wherever you go.

Look and Design

Here´s where the E52 stands ahead of many of its competitors. Having made the decision to stick with the candybar form and not offer a QWERTY-keyboard, Nokia have been able to keep this phone remarkably slim and light. Not only that, but the brushed metal finishing of the case (available in a choice of two colours) gives the whole thing an incredibly high quality feel.

Conclusion

A business phone of the highest order, but also something many who don´t work in the business world could find many uses for.
