Why compare with us?

The O2 XDA Orbit was released some time earlier this year. O2 proved that even after so many years they are still one of the most reliable brands in the market today. The phone is said to be the next HTC Cruise. This phone is the second one to be released with an onboard GPS receiver, the previous one being the Orbit.

The phone has an elegant appearance which seems to have drawn ideas from both the Orbit as well as the HTC Touch. The phone looks both classy and modern. The circular navigation key in the middle of the phone makes navigation through menus easy and efficient. This navigation key can be pressed in all directions to navigate though the main menu as well as sub menus. The key has a special feature that allows it to be turned in a way similar to the central click wheel on an iPod. This wheel helps the user scroll through long lists easily. The efficient scrolling mechanism is new in smart phones making this phone stand out from other smart phones such as the BlackBerry Bold. One disadvantage of this phone is the fact that it is quite bulky. This is not a breakthrough phone in terms of design.

The phone has all the good connectivity options expected in a Smartphone. This makes sure that the user has easy access to all the latest methods of obtaining information and keeping in touch. The Orbit 2 has CoPilot Live 7 navigation software which is very efficient and easy to use. The software is reliable and the user has no trouble in finding their way through the software. The Orbit 2 has the innovative TouchFlo interface which is very intuitive and efficient. The user can access all the applications of the phone without too much hassle. The speakerphone of the phone is nice and loud making sure that the user has no trouble listening to any audio instructions when travelling in a car for example. Windows Mobile 6 Professional comes with the phone and allows for easy internet connectivity. Files can be downloaded from the internet easily.
