Just a day ago, we were able to confirm that 3 Mobile will be delivering the Spotify music streaming service to the Sony Ericsson Vivaz. Now, it looks like Sony is adding even more music functionality to the smart phone in the form of a humble little equalizer for managing music settings for playback.

Just a few weeks ago came the news that Sony Ericsson had to close up some of their offices in the United States, a facility in India and another facility in Sweden. An estimated total of 2000 employees were let go in the process.

As we reported last week, the Sony Ericsson Satio mobile phone had to be taken off the shelves by Carphone Warehouse and others after a number of problems with the device saw customers returning them at an alarming rate – these issues weren't small either, as they included handset resets and random freezes.
