I still remember my very first camera phone.
It was a Sagem something or other (that wasn’t its actual name) and it boasted a state of the art 2MP snapper.
I’m kidding of course, the camera on that phone was never ‘state of the art’ but the novelty at the time was unreal.

It is not news that Sony Ericsson is in trouble. They have been these past couple of years due to low phone sales and sadly, mostly weak devices. Which is a sad shame since there are some SE phones that are just plain good; the walkman series in particular were pretty trendy, stylish and functional, for a bunch of mostly-GSM devices. Just a few weeks ago came the news that Sony Ericsson had to close up some of their offices in the United States, a facility in India and another facility in Sweden. An estimated total of 2000 employees were let go in the process. It is pretty much public knowledge that the company is having problems. Among the closed offices were those in Miami, apparently these were folded into the main North American branches, as for the facilities in India...

For those who are not familiar, the Sony Ericsson Satio got pulled out of shelves from both Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse due to a lot of major firmware issues.
