The Txt Pro is an affordable messaging phone from Sony Ericsson that is similar in design and feel to the Xperia mini pro, albeit without the Android operating system. It does still feature the same interface however, which has gone down well with users for its customisable corner buttons. You can set these buttons up to give you direct access to your favourite feature such as YouTube, Facebook or your messages.
Like the Xperia mini pro, the Txt Pro comes with a slide-out QWERTY keypad. This can be great to have to hand for typing SMS messages or emails. The phone focuses on social communication with good support for Facebook and Twitter, and also allows you to get quick access to your top 5 contacts.
The phone features good entertainment options including a music and video player with features like TrackID and a 3.5mm headphone socket. An FM radio is also included for good measure and you can watch videos online with YouTube. There is 100MB internal storage and you can top this up with 32GB memory cards.
The Txt Pro comes with a 3" capacitive screen making it a pocket friendly phone, although the screen does not support multitouch. While there is no 3G on offer the phone does benefit from Wi-Fi support allowing you to get online when you are in the vicinity of an available network. The phone is available in a choice of colours including black, white and pink.
