The Sony Ericsson K850i is for all those budding photographers out there. It is the
follow-on from the
Sony Ericsson K800i and focuses much of its offering around providing a
mobile phone with a camera that is good enough to warrant only taking one device
out rather than two. The 5 megapixel camera certainly goes some way to achieving
this, although the keen photographer may still want to carry a separate digital
camera for the time being.
For those who are looking for a
mobile
phone that takes high quality photo's whilst they are out and about the
K850i does not disappoint. Sony Ericsson are renowned for using high quality lenses
that do not distort. The flash on the K850i is also very good creating a good amount
of light in even the darkest circumstances.
The build quality of the K850i is one of its best points. Everybody knows about
the sturdiness of the
K800i and this is carried through in the K850i. It really does feel like
you could throw it down the stairs and would emerge with no injuries whatsoever
(not that we'd recommend this).
The K850i embraces web 2.0 functionality. The lines between mobile and web are blurring
faster than ever. The K850i lets you upload video and photos to your blog via and
HSDPA connection. The screen quality is excellent, meaning browsing the web is a
more pleasurable experience than a hindrance.
The Sony Ericsson K850i promises to be another smash hit in the mobile phone arena.
