Why compare with us?

The Vodafone 543 Miss Sixty is a rerelease of the Vodafone 543 with exclusive Miss Sixty covers and accessories, among other additions. Aside from the Miss Sixty décor, the phone is very much the same affair as the original Vodafone 543 released in April 2010.

This little pocket friendly device comes with a 2.4" TFT touch sensitive screen employing resistive technology. The screen uses a clear 240 x 320 resolution and beneath it are call accept and reject buttons as well as a navigational trackball.

With GPRS and EDGE support the 543 Miss Sixty comes with Opera Mini for browsing the web and also features a balance indicator, informing the phone´s user of how much phone credit they have remaining. This can be a handy tool to have for people on a budget as it allows you to keep track of your spending. There is SMS and MMS support and various games also come included with the phone.

The phone comes with a media player for playing music and video and also has microSD support for additional storage space. There is an FM radio with RDS in addition to this and you can use this to listen to the latest chart toppers. You can also use your stored mp3´s as ringtones for added personalisation. The Vodafone 543 comes with Bluetooth and microUSB support so that you can easily transfer files to and from the phone. Unfortunately there is no Wi-Fi or 3G but that is to be expected from a budget handset.

Also on board is a 1.3 megapixel camera which can be used for taking pictures of your friends. There is no video support and the camera does not come with an extensive list of features but it is nice to have a camera included on a budget phone.

The original 543 came with some pretty mind altering covers itself, but this time the release has come with some Miss Sixty inspired graphics. Because of this the phone will no doubt appeal more to younger phone users, particularly those that are female.
