While some people had presumed that the Desire S was to be HTC´s replacement for the 2010 smash hit Desire smartphone, it turned out that the Sensation was to be the company´s flagship device for 2011. The Sensation marks the introduction of some of the latest technological developments into HTC´s highly popular range of Android phones and at the time of its release is only really rivalled in terms of features by the equally impressive Samsung Galaxy S2.
Screen and Entertainment
The Sensation is a larger phone than the earlier Desire and more closely......

HTC Chacha Review
With the rise in popularity of Facebook and also the ever more available web access on smartphones it has not been too surprising to find dedicated Facebook apps on most modern phones. Many phones now come with Facebook woven into the very design of their interface, with quick access to Facebook friends through the phone´s contact list. The Chacha however, along with the Salsa, is the first phone to be designed specifically with Facebook usage in mind.
To start off with it comes with a BlackBerry style QWERTY keypad that makes it ideal for quickly up......

HTC Salsa Review
Along with the HTC Chacha the HTC Salsa is the first phone specifically designed with Facebook usage in mind. The Chacha comes with a QWERTY keypad for typing away while the Salsa has opted for a full touchscreen and on-screen keyboard. The Salsa has a smaller screen than most other touchscreen handsets but this just adds to the phones appeal by making it much more portable and comfortable to carry.
What marks the Salsa, and also the Chacha, out as Facebook phones is their dedicated Facebook buttons. This physical button placed on the phone´s body pro......

HTC Wildfire S Review
The Wildfire S is the follow up handset to HTC´s popular Wildfire. The Wildfire was a scaled down and more affordable version of the flagship Desire. The Wildfire S does not cut back on messaging or entertainment features as most of the affordability is acquired through a slightly slower processor and smaller screen than the Desire.
At 3.2" the Wildfire S´s screen is more petite than most touchscreens on the market today and this instantly gives it appeal to people who find the larger handsets too uncomfortably large. The screen is a c......

HTC Desire S reviewed by Simon Drew | 20th April 2011
The original Desire was the handset that really solidified HTC as one of the world´s leading smartphone manufacturers and was also one of the bestselling phones of 2010. Due to its phenomenal popularity HTC has now reissued the device with some more contemporary features. Although some areas of the new Desire S have been upgraded, including the HSPA and Wi-Fi connections and Android operating system, the newer version remains very faithful to the original.
If you have just bought the original Desire......

HTC Incredible S Review
HTC struck gold with the HTC Desire, released in early 2010, which went on to be one of the best selling phones of the year and the biggest success story for the Chinese manufacturer that is quickly coming to dominate the smartphone market. The Desire was such a hit with consumers that it has spawned a whole range of offspring devices including the Desire Z and the Desire HD. While the Desire Z added an additional QWERTY keyboard the Desire HD took the path of adopting a larger screen for better entertainment value.
At 4.3" the Desire HD feature......

HTC Flyer Review
The Flyer is HTC´s first entrant into the world of touchscreen tablets and is a pretty impressive debut. Coming just before the second wave of tablet devices the Flyer falls somewhere in between the first generation of tablets like the iPad and Galaxy Tab, and the second generation of dual core devices such as the PlayBook and Xoom. The Flyer is not dual core but does possess a 1.5GHz processor, making it speedier in operation than its 1GHz predecessors. The Flyer also comes with 1GB RAM making it possible to handle many high powered applications.

HTC 7 Surround
HTC was one of the first companies to get behind Microsoft´s Windows Phone 7 operating system and certainly the most enthusiastic, launching several WP7 handsets to coincide with the new OS. The HTC 7 Surround was announced slightly after HTC´s initial WP7 handsets, such as the Mozart and the Trophy, and this has given the Surround the advantage of being able to iron out the minor teething problems the WP7 operating system encountered.
Like its counterpart the Mozart, the Surround´s raison d´etre is indicated by its name as this handse......

HTC Gratia Review
The Gratia is a very similar phone to the HTC Legend released in early 2010, and almost identical to the HTC Aria which never made its way out of the Asian market. The Gratia takes the same physical design and hardware specifications as the Aria and only differs in having an updated operating system. The Google Android on board has been updated to the latest 2.2 version (compared to the Aria´s 2.1) but like its Asian counterpart this has also been skinned with HTC´s Sense user interface.
Inside the Gratia has an exceptional range of hardware fe......

HTC 7 Pro Review
The HTC 7 Pro is one of HTC´s first line of Windows Phone 7 handsets and offers a different experience to HTC´s other offerings thanks to its QWERTY keyboard. The Dell Venue Pro WP7 handset also features a sliding keyboard but slides vertically rather than horizontally and as such the HTC 7 Pro provides more finger space for typing. Aside from this major physical difference the HTC 7 Pro shares many similar features to HTC´s other Windows Phone 7 handsets such as the HD7, 7 Mozart and 7 Trophy.
The similarities include a 1GHz processor and......
