Alcatel OT-319 Review - read honest Alcatel OT-319 reviews
The Alcatel OT-S319 is a very basic clamshell which has been released to compete with the likes of the Nokia 1680 Classic, the Nokia 2310 and the Sony Ericsson J140i. The soap – shaped clamshell will, in all probabilities, appeal more to the younger audience with it’s nice curvy and small shape, though the older crowd wouldn’t mind having a youthful-looking handset. There is also a good chance that the shape of the phone would deceive small children into thinking that it’s a sweet!

The build of the phone is not very solid, but it is not much of a big deal considering the price range of the phone. Despite this, it doesn’t feel too bad. There are three shortcut buttons which can be seen on the strip running along the bottom part of the phone. The buttons allow you to switch between profiles, access call history and opening your phonebook. The middle buttons will flash if there is an unread message or if there is an incoming call. The keypad is quite conventional, with the usual 5 way navigation pad, along with the call accept and call reject keys and the soft keys above these. The right directional key, when pressed, reveals the volume menu as there is no dedicated volume rocker. All the keys are made of rubber and quite easy to use, ensuring that you won’t have any difficulty texting.
The Alcatel OT-S319, on the whole, is a phone which sports a very classy design and some great colour schemes and can be used as a backup phone just in case your fancy smartphone got lost. It does everything that you need it to do, thereby making it a must have. If you are looking for a phone which you can give to your child without worrying about whether or not he or she will lose it, this phone is the one. This phone wouldn’t be too bad if you are going to a bar and don’t mind losing it there. This little charming phone will do the job for you, but adds a bit more in the looks department, ensuring a good value – for – money bargain.
