The LG GM750 is a Windows Mobile 6.5-operated smartphone which is user-friendly and functional.

 

 

The LG GM750 is a small, slim smartphone with a simple design. The case is black and houses a 3 inch touchscreen. When powered, the applications can be easily accessed by scrolling through the different screens and tapping to select the ones you want.

 

Similar in size to the LG GM730, although a little thicker, the LG GM750 is pocket-friendly and uses the LG S-Class interface to make it equally friendly to operate. The S-Class interface, which is used on the LG Arena, Viewty Smart and Crystal phones, allows for fast access. The QWERTY on-screen keyboard is easy to use as the keys are nicely spaced.

 

 

With the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, the LG GM750 has a range of Microsoft features pre-installed including the MyPhone service which backs up all your documents and files. This is great for peace of mind as you know that even if you replace or lose your phone, your information is still safe. It also means you can access your documents from anywhere online.

 

The LG GM750 has access to the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Like the Apple App Store for the iPhone, the Marketplace has additional apps for you to download, including ones for work, music and fun. You also have access to Pocket Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF viewer, so you can open, edit and save documents on the go. This is particularly useful for business users as it means you can send and receive work files on your mobile. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync is installed on the LG GM750 which syncs all your work email, calendar and contact details too.

 

The LG GM750 phone is all about communication and along with texting, picture messaging, instant messaging and emailing, there is support for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. So staying in touch with friends, family and colleagues is easy.

 

The four home screens give you quick access to what you want – applications, multimedia, contacts and Vodafone widgets. You can customise the applications on the first home screen by adding or changing widgets, and then moving them around so they are in an order you like. The multimedia home screen displays your music and photo gallery, which you scroll through before selecting what you are looking for. The contacts screen lets you sort the display order and add details; and the Vodafone widget screen has access to icons like Navigator and Vodafone Music Store. As well as scrolling, you can move between home screens by tapping on the corresponding dot along the top of the touchscreen.

 

 

The internal memory of the LG GM750 is only 200MB although it does come with an expandable internal storage up to 32GB via a microSD card.
