The LG GT505
Summary
While not the highest spec phone currently out there, you could do a lot worse than the LG GT505. With a decent touchscreen, fantastic camera and hi-end internet connectivity, this could be a phone to satisfy the majority of users´ demands.

As you can see, that camera really is a cracker. There´s few as good as it out there at the moment, especially on phone´s coming in at this price. The phone is also one of the lightest we´ve come across for something that packs in so many features. Compared to other phones in its class, this is a good 20-40 grams lighter than nearly all of them, meaning whether you carry it in a pocket, bag or anywhere else, you´re barely going to notice it.
Conclusion
A good, solid, robust phone that excels in a couple of areas – the camera and internet connectivity especially – and more than satisfies everywhere else. Well worth a look, especially as you´re likely to find yourself a bargain.

My previous phone, the LG Viewty, made me interested in all the other phones LG had to offer by the time my upgrade was available. After hearing many bad reviews of the Viewty Smart I decided to go for the GT505.
Unfortunately, LG have decided to change just about everything possible from the Viewty making it a difficult transition (so difficult I gave up) from the Viewty to the GT505; so if you like the Viewty, this isn’t the phone for you.
A few of the problems: You don’t always receive a text until you unlock the keypad (very annoying). The phone doesn’t remember if you use predictive text (or not). The keypad buttons are too small. You can’t rename profiles. The earpiece is far too loud (although this can be altered, prefer for a shock the first time you speak to someone). The ‘c’ button from the Viewty is now a pointless menu button. Signal strength can be very poor.
Good points: Battery life; I gave it a twelve hour charge the day I got the phone and then it had a better battery life than my Viewty. The internet was fast. Impressive camera
Overall, LG have let themselves down by changing things that didn’t need to be changed. I’ll be going back to a Nokia who know what needs advancing, and what is just fine as it is!
The best phone i've had yet. AMAZING camera. Great Internet, High quality touchscreen & really simple to use..
Now the downers..
THE BATTERY SUCKS..
It runs out in about 5 hours.. no wonder it takes 30 mins to charge..
I would reccomend this phone to anyone who needs photography, video, Internet, & quick and easy calls & messages..
