LG KF300 Review - read honest LG KF300 reviews
The LG KF300 is one of the latest flip phones to be released to the market. Compared to big names such as the KS360 and the KC780, the KF300 is more of a low key phone. The phone can be compared to more conventional phones such as the Sony Ericsson W910i both in terms of appearance and build quality. LG has aimed to target people who are looking for a phone that will not be too complicated to handle, which could be used to do the job of texting and calling efficiently.

The KF300 is a slimmer phone with a pretty attractive design. The chrome accents on the edges as well as the steel blue pattern situated under the plastic front panel make the phone look more expensive than it actually is. There is a secondary LCD display that is hidden in the front panel, which lights up when you receive a message or a call. This makes the phone stand out and will definitely attract a second look if it starts ringing. The KF300 flips open to reveal a numeric keypad that has well spread out keys. This makes it easy for the user to type out messages easily. Unusually, there are shortcut keys on the other half of the clamshell as well. These keys are directly under the screen, with a row of keys that are marked with icons linking to specific application including alarm clock, calendar and the image gallery.
The KF300 does not disappoint on features in any way. Even though it does not come with the features of a top class phone, this is hardly what you would expect for a budget phone. The camera is good enough to take a few rough snaps, but cannot be depended on to capture all your precious memories clearly. The MP3 player is pretty standard and is good enough to listen to music and to play ringtones. One big disadvantage of the phone is the location of the microSD card slot at the back of the phone. You have to remove the battery if you want to change the microSD card, which can be quite annoying. The earphones that come with the phone are surprisingly quite good. The 3.5 mm headphone port means that you could use a better pair if you want to. The loudspeaker is also quite good, though not in the class of phones like the Nokia 5610. The sound gets harsh and distorted when the volume is increased.
