The new LG KP500 is a great new touch screen entertainment phone from LG which although lacks 3G, has a huge range of features which will keep you entertained for a long time. This phone is not only feature filled but it is great looking as well and offers users a stylish and sophisticated handset with fun and entertaining features. The phone is also available in several colours which mean you can enjoy a unique handset with a good range of high quality features from LG. I really like the phone and think it’ll do very well in the mobile phone market.

The phone has a great look to it and is slim line and sleek and also has a nice set of features to keep you entertained. The phone is equipped with a 3.2 mega pixel camera, media player and a whole host of other features which you can enjoy. The phone’s 3 inch touch screen display is easy to use and the phone comes with a stylus so you shouldn’t have any difficulty accessing any of the features. The phone is also equipped with 4 built in games and you can download more at your will so you’ll really get a good range of entertainment features from this phone.
The phone’s features are great fun and easy to use and the phone also has handwriting recognition which is a fun and useful feature. LG have always been good at creating entertainment phones which are great looking and the KP500 is no exception. Apart from the camera and media player the phone is also equipped with an FM radio as well as Bluetooth capabilities and a document viewer. The phone could be used as a business phone because of this and the email client allows you to send and receive emails with attachments which again, is a good business feature. Personally, I think the phone is best suited to entertainment use.

The phone’s looks are probably what will make it sell because it has a sleek and stylish finish to it which is very LG – but not to the point of looking like all other LG phones which I feared was becoming a problem. However, this phone is very unique and as it is available in four colours it means you can make the phone unique. The colours available are Black, Vandyke brown, Anodizing Silver and Elegant gold so you really can choose a colour which suits your needs and style individually. The phone is also able to be customized in terms of the themes of the phone and you can download ringtones and screensavers.
The phone has a very slim line design and is 106.5mm by 55.4mm by 11.9 mm in dimensions and weighs a minute 89 grams so is very light weight when compared to other phones on the market. I think the looks of this phone are beautiful and a lot of people are likely to very much appreciate the style of this phone’s design. The curved edges and sleek finish make it a beautiful device to look at as well as use. It has an ergonomic feel to it and will sit nicely in your hand while you’re using it.
Design
The phone has a good design and runs an LG operating system which is very easy to use and simple in terms of layout. The phone also has a nice set of applications which all run smoothly and I think the thing I like most about this phone is the way you can play games using the phone as a control by either shaking or moving it. The design of the software and applications is top notch and again, shows why LG are a leader in the mobile phone industry. The phone’s features all run smoothly and work together well and I doubt you’ll have any trouble using any part of the phone at all.

All in all, the LG KP500 is a great phone and I think that for personal users who enjoy entertainment features this phone could be a best seller. It has all you could ever need and works extremely well with the technology that is built in. I think a lot of people will be pleased to hear that this phone is a great device and works very well in terms of software and applications. The features such as the 3.2 mega pixel camera, the video recorder and the media player are all amazing features which work exceptionally well and allow the user to enjoy entertainment while on the go.
The phone’s other features are also very good and the email client especially. One thing I really like about this phone is that when you’re typing an email or text you can simply turn the phone around and it’ll automatically change to landscape view and bring up a touch screen QWERTY keyboard which allows you to type emails much more quickly and with ease. This phone really does have the user in mind when it comes to its design and I think it’ll do very well in terms of sales.
The features are one thing but the look of the phone is incredible – the 3 inch touch screen display makes the whole phone appear seamless and the curved edges make the phone pleasing on the eye. I think you can expect a lot of compliments when using this phone and you’ll have to prepare to be the envy of your friends due to the high performance and high quality look and feel of this phone. yeah .bought this phone about a week ago. very dissapointing.its crashed 3 times.
1st time it went off for 2 hours tried charging it no good.then all of a sudden it came back on as if nothing had happened.2nd and 3rd time happened while i was a on a call. very frustrating. the keypad locks when you are on a call. its probably just teethin problems cos the phone is new.anyway i shall be returning it to carphone warehouse. for a refund. i'll wait till they bring out the next model when they've ironed out the problems with this one.
i carnt wait to get this phone gettin it friday and its worth its money specially if u dont want to spend hundred of pounds on a stylish touch screen phone another great design by lg >x

this phone is terible bought it from the carphone warehouse and have had loads of problems with the touch screen and took it back and the second one had the same problems. i ended upm buyimg the lg viewty and have had no problems and it's a lot better phone for only £20 more. don't buy this phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
amazed by the phone have the same problems mine crashed too but al i had to do was take the batery out and put it back in but it can be quite frustrating all in all a very good fone and im pleased as it only was £100

The phone is ment for christmas, but I have had a good play on it. Its a great phone, very fun. Lots of great features including 3.2mp camera, great games and good memory (well reasonable). I handed my old handset into CPW and got £20 back, not quite sure how it works, but I bought a memory card from it. Cant wait till i get it all set up and going. Although CPW rang yesturday and told my mum they had given the wrong phone out, they said it was a demo phone!! :O I was pretty shocked they could make that mistake. But nothing really seemed different. Anyhow, they swapped it today and told me to give it a good charge, so earlier I put it on charge and it said ‘no sim inserted’. Im going back tomorrow to get it sorted. But I know its the sim because me and my sister tried each others sims in each others phones and her sim worked in both phones, whereas mine didnt. Not very happy with it.
Another thing, Ive read LOADS of reviews and some of them say the phone reboots itself (turns itself off). I asked a friend about it because her best mate has this phone and it did it to her. I asked what did she do, and she said it happened for about a week, but has been fine ever since. It hasnt happened to me while ive played on the phone but if it does, I will probably go back to CPW.
Some people have said the touch screen is hard to get used to, but its not. I got an iPod touch earlier this year as a bday present and that was really quick to get used to. Also when messaging, the Cookie has:
-handwriting recognition
-predictive text
-normal
which I think is really good.
Mayb3 you should look into the carphone warehouse rather than this beautiful phone!

Excellent Phone, i first got the phone and it was amazing, nd i used it all the time, nd drew on the drawing board it has(similar to paint on computer)<

this phone is the worst phone i have ever had! had it for 1 month& in that time iv had to have it replaced 3 times as all 3 kept crasing,freezing, turning itself off, all sorts! I have now changed to a viewty, brill phone.

Absolutley love phone, I bought it for my son for christmas and am baffled why people keep saying it crashes,ours is yet to. One woman said hers keeps crashing when takes out of her bag, have you brought the protective case to stop the screen being pressed when in bag. Love the way you can change your front screen, when downloaded on, music mp3 menu instantly comes up and stays up as does clock, logo etc, just drag the screen to the side and all that disappears, then drag it back when you want access to those things. Love when viewing pics if you turn phone to side pictures automatically turn and enlarge. Easy to tx, email etc, predictive txting seems to know every word inc names havent needed to enter a word ourselves yet. Shake phone for some games, awesome! Camera superb in daytime, not so good at night. Music sounds fine, not tinny. Stunning looking, light, sleek bla bla. Love it, love it, love it!

Purchased two of these, one for me and one for my wife, both on our second phone. My phone would not hold it's charge and it got very hot. My wife's phone had an awful buzzing from the ear piece. Both these phones were purchased from CPW, who to be fare didn't really give a damn that we were having problems. My phone was replaced but my wife's (christmas present) was past the 28 day replacement policy so is being repaired. Not too pleased with the LG Cookie, even less pleased with CPW, will not be going there again!! My replacement phone is not holding it's charge either. Looks like £100 DOWN THE PAN - you live and learn!!
Heyahh;; i am so exited for it but loads of people say that it crashes all the time!! but even though i have the risk of that actually happening i still want;; this phone. i was going to get the LG Viewty but it is fat and ugly!!!! I was considering the Samsung tocco but that one is too big!! I love the LG Cookie is really pritty :) It might not crash anyways,, i cant wait i am getting it on the 31st january and from the carphone warehouse. i will post a review wen i get it and see if it really does crash !!!

Why are these people rating it 1 or 2 star. This is the best phone I've ever had. It has never crashed or blanked, or anything like that. You lot probably got a bad batch, or you are comparing it with a phone worth £350. Of course, i'd prefer an iPhone, but I wouldn't say that the iPhone is 3.5 times better. The only one critisism I have is it not having a flash. But phones aren't made for taking pictures, if you want to take good quality pictures, buy a camera. anyway, that camera is still pretty good. It has an impressive accelerometer. Good games, you can insert memory cards of up to 8gb into it. Excelent! Better than any other £200 phone! Get this phone. Best LG yet!!!
My previous phone has broken so have been looking for a good deal on a great phone, for this money this phone looks great. but after reading allot of the reviews it seems that it keeps restarting allot, i have already been looking at the LG Viewty (i think it's called that) and not found any good deals on it so far. I have also had the same problem with looking for a Samsung Tocco, but had no luck either. It's a tricky one for me to decide as ALOT of people are pleased with it, but on the other hand allot of people aren't. Could someone give me a fare sided vote on what i should do?! HELP!!!!

I think that t is great value for the money and is great to play on !!! I thought it looked so stylish when I saw it in the Carphone Warhouse Store and I purchased the pink one; The best move I have ever made!
It's very responsive, has good memory (but you will need to purchase a memory card) and not the best camera in the world but at least it's got one!
I believe LG have made a good choice with this phone and I hope they continue to do so as I will definately be purchasing another of their phones!

It is a stylish phone verry good for its price however because crashes so much it is verry unreliable personally i would recomend the samung tocco or ipone if looking for a tuch screen.
I don't know the guy whosoever wrote this review ever used this phone as business phone ?, guys if you are looking for a good phone with entertainment go for it , design and phone part is good , but its not at all meant for business , its very slow in opening documents and writing/typing notes or messages , So if your use is business :( sad , I have bought it the first day , have been playing from few hrs testing on documents and videos :( alas phone is very slow.

And when it does this you LOOSE all your settings, it wipes your text messages also.!!!

If you've brought the LG Cookie before January of this year and have been experiencing problems like, it turns itself off, keeps crashing and re-starting etc apparently it's the software, and it has (apparently) been fixed, so you shouldn't have the problems now unless it's to do with the network your on.
My friend had to swap her's for the new 'fixed' LG Cookie.
OMG I CANT WAIT TOO GET THIS FONE!, im getting it in 3-5 days :):), and btw have you checked, most people that say it has froze have got it carefone warehouse.

This phone is amazing! I got it today after reading loads of reviews and doing research into it. It feels suprisingly light and great to hold. The features are amazing, though the touchscreen and keyboard to take a little getting used to, nothing that an hour or two playing around can't solve. As for all these people complainging, what are you on about? I haven't found one single problem with it, it works fine, it doesn't switch off, it seems fast enough to me and the PC software works! The only thing I would recommend is get something decent to keep it in, don't put it in a bag or pocket loose, just to avoid screen damage (my LG Shines smashed screen tought me to be wary) and to avoid accidently pressing things, over all, best phone I ever had!

Good phone, great entertainment features but camera quality is poor. The keypad seems easy to use and web browser seems to be resonable. The looks are probably one of the resons it sells because it is slim and very stylish. Overall it is a good phone offering great features.

I would recomend this product there are many reviews that state that it will crash etc - it will if u press the screen too hard it is very sensitive and users over compensate the pressure when using the supplied screen protective film - DON'T PRESS TOO HARD! U will not get any problems otherwise - all phones and indeed most consumer goods have inherant problems, the I phone is hyped up on the back of I pod not a good phone, low quality build and would u belive runs LG processors! (I don't work for LG) I have had the I phone which is a con, by the time u have bought it and aquired all your 'apps' u are looking at pounds I am typing this on my old Blackberry which is the reason for getting the cookie basically buy it don't press the screen too hard, charge fully before using it, sod the I phone, Blackberry - don't go there for the money the LG is a winner oh and avoid CPW - most CPW phone of asian origin are built in czech rep whereas mainstrean are uk or us that's a fact.
I got this phone yesterday in black. I loved it and although the texting methods were a little slow, they're very fun and I'm already getting quicker! Games pointless but phone using the motion sensor. Music player brilliant and image editing fun!
Unfortunately, woke up this morning and started playing on my phone. Someone texted me and when I tried going on the inbox, my phone immediately restarted.Tried ten more times and did the same thing.
Took it back to carphone warehouse, determined, and swapped it because i really love the phone.
Works perfectly now, and apart from the little glitch, a really good phone!
Having had it for a couple of weeks i can safely say this is the best phone ive ever had. Its incredibly easy to navigate, extremely practical, and a lot of fun too. Sure, it doesnt have quite as many feature or the same quality as an iphone, but what can you expect when its about a quarter of the price? The music player is very good, just as easy to use as an ipod and the same can be said for the radio. I wholeheartedly reccommend this
Got this phone 2 weeks ago. Brought this phone bcos it's cheap & furthermore it has a touch screen feature. My 1st LG phone is viewty.... that makes me have confident with LG.
I'm glad that Cookie didn't disappoint me although camera quality is not as gd as viewty...But based on the price I'm paying, I'm still satisfied with the performance so far.

Was a great phone untill it starts swtiching off .. ive had this phone only 4 months and its already playing up ive had 2 repairs and 3 replacement phones and they still do the same wouldnt advise you to buy this phone.

Bought this phone 13th jan from the cpw for £97 locked up on week two screen went blue then kept shuting down took back to cpw on the 21st feb had a replacment phone lasted 3 days locked up again took back which they did a software up grade lasted 12 days failed again taken back again cpw sent off to lg for another repair took two weeks and they damged handset{ still waiting for new covers }lasted four hours took back again they did another software upgrade lasted 6 hours taken back again they refuse to refund money as over 28 day DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE DO NOT BUY FROM THE CARPHONE WAREHOUSE

It makes out it is the best phone ever, i have just got it and it is not what it seems. I wish i had never had it because it always resets itself and it wont touch the right things even after callibration. DONT GET IT !

I ordered and paid for this phone online from car phone warehouse nearly three weeks ago and have still not received the full package. To date, their "customer services" dept seem unable or unwilling to resolve the issue.
The phone is fine. My advice is buy it elsewhere.

this phone is awsome dude!!! i went to the car phoneware house today and asked for a demonstration, and i also kind of figured out why some peoples cookie keeps rebooting. the women at cpwh told me some of the old lg cookie do have system failure, but there is a new batch, but some people from time to time get the old batch. (old batch - bitter cookies, new batch - hot delicious cookies!!! heehee). anyway i can't wait till i get this phone i am sooooooooooooo excited i am getting it for my birthday which is the 13 of may and i seriously can't wait. for the last few weeks this phone is the only thing i can think about.
anyway the main point is it has a nice smooth design.

well i have just bought this phone in the white and blue option. And should i say that i am impressed by the cookie. I love the colour of the phone how slim it is i thought that from the pictures it would be massive but i was wrong it is a perfect size. I think this has to be one of the best touch screen phones.

Fantastic budget touchscreen phone.
Interface is very intuitive and, on the whole, works hugely well. The lack of customisation available on the home screen could be frustrating to some, as could the lack of wi-fi/3G for internet access...but as the phone costs ~£100 on PAYG, I don't think those are hugely justifiable complaints.
Entertainment features work well; camera moderately clear and, at 3 megapixels, not bad for a phone camera. Video works very well indeed. MP3 player is again not bad for a phone, and sound quality is actually pretty good, even with the included headphones. No 3.5mm headphone jack is a bit of a pain, but an adapter can be bought. Document reader is surprisingly useful, even for a student like me (imported a few e-books onto it to keep me company on long bus/train journeys, contemplating importing some medical textbooks too)
I have had none of the software glitches that others have reported and the battery life, whilst not stellar, is not too bad; with moderate use, one charge will last me a good 3 days. Interfacing with PC is again relatively simple, although lack of compatibility with media players other than Windows Media Player is a bit of a pain.
The only recommendation that I would make is to buy a case for the phone, as the touchscreen is obviously far more delicate than traditional phone screens through necessity. I would heartily recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a cheap, stylish, functional phone. It's not an Iphone killer, but it never claimed to be. It is, rather, the Ronseal of touchscreens; it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Great phone, Love the look of it and all the different texting options, music player quality is amazing! good value for money. Only down point is that not any good games (most are just demos) X
Excellent phone with loads of features. I've had mine for 3 months or so without problems, however, my only criticisms would be the lack of a flash, and that the instruction book doesn't tell you how to switch the phone on and off. For everyone's information, the phone has to be active, i.e. with the clock and date showing, having pressed the central button,and the Blue screen icon, before it can be switched off by holding the red end call button. To switch it on again, hold the end call button down for a few seconds.
Playing music on the built in speakers gives excellent sound. Pictures, although not upto the brilliance of my Sony Ericsson, are good if taken in decent light, outdoors,preferably.Personally, I have fitted my Cookie with a Zagg Invisible Shield, because I found it works so well on my iTouch, and this really protects the whole phone.
I have had no problem with crashes, and can only wonder if people are mistaking its "sleep" state, or switched off state for crashes. The display does disappear within a few seconds, if the phone is left alone, but only requires the touching of the central button,and screen icon to become fully active again.
Personally, I find the phone relatively easy to use once familiar with the controls, andconsider it great value for money.

this phone is rubish. i have had it 2 months and i have looked after it well. But the screen has smashed for no reason i can think of. Sony erricson phones are much better as they have better features. The design looks like the phone is cheap and looks like a toy not a real mobile.

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago. I've had no problems with it. It's fun to use - I love using the drawing panel to make my own cool wallpapers. No crashing or anything and I've been using it quite a lot for texting. My sister has the Samsung Tocco and now wishes she bought a Cookie :) Definitely reccommend it!

I love this phone, iv'e had it for 4 days and know how to use it already, its really fast at loading pictures and loading apps i also like the qwerty keyboard and text screen and i sit and doodle all day long with the doodle app so all in all this phone is GREAT and LIGHT and EASY TO USE !!!!!!!

this phone is exellent :) and VERY good value for money! its got loads of really cool things to do on it like the drawing panel and load of games too :)
theres loads to do on it and its easy to use :) all the design and layouts of the gallery etc are exellent and really exiting and cool :)
the only bad thing about the phone is that i dropped it and theres a crack under the screen and lots of purple blothes and it costs 70 quid to repair so its a brilliant phone but once you`ve dropped it you basically have to get a new one :( which is what ive had to do sooo if your gonna get it do not drop it and definitly get a big fat padded case for it becuase i didnt and if i had when i dropped it it wouldnt of cracked soo its worth the money :) xxx
really easy to use phone i had the nokia 5800 before the lg cookie and even know there is a good price difference between the 2 i would choose the cheaper lg anytime its easier to use and the quality of the phone is better the nokia kept freezing and turning itsef off and took ages to load up wen u turned it on but the cookie is so much better it hasnt turned off on me once yet even tho the user interface is more simple i find it does a good job the music player is good for the price off the phone even tho i would say they would draw more people in by including a headphone adapter in the box so u can plug your own headfones in all in all good value for money they could also do a favour for the phone by upgrading the software so people can download themes
I have had this phone for 28 days and I REALLY loved it, I would have rated it 10/10 and sung it's praises to everyone, however this week it has started freezing. All I can do is remove the battery to turn it off and cross my fingers that when I switch it back on it will get further than the LG symbol, if it doesn't then I have to take the battery out again and keep trying until it turns on again. I have contacted the CPW and they have told me to bring it back to them, I hope they can sort it out as when it is working it is a great phone.
I have got this phone last month for my wife. I bought this for its looks and on paper features as I dint have time to test it properly. If u ask me now, i regret. Look is good but phone hangs at important times. Only way to bring it back is removing battery and putting it back. Touch screen is'nt that great either. Do go for it of its looks, you will regret.

When i first got this phone i really liked it but after about a month my opinions changed.
The phone started playing up, turning itself off when i was on the Internet and showing a big blue square over the screen. I could live with it until the other day when the phone wouldn't charge, and then when it does charge it freezes and the battery has to be taken out. It also did a master reset and deleted all my texts/pictures/numbers that were stored on the phone. I am in the process of trying to get this all fixed. In conclusion its okay for the first month but i really wouldn't recommend it.
I bought this phone and had it for a month it would keep crashing and turning itself off, i also had the lg ks360 and had faults with that to i think its the software that lg have used as i had a fault with two lg phones so personally i think this phone is brilliant other than the software.
I've had this phone for about 2 months now. I was unsure about getting the phone at first because I read quite a few reviews saying that the phone kept restarting etc. But I took the risk, and I'm glad I did. The phone has only shut down twice but both times I was doing too much on the phone at one time so I'm guessing it just couldn't take it anymore! This two shut downs weren't problematic. You get the LG PC Suite II with it, which is a great interface - easy transferring between the PC and the phone. The only thing I don't like are the controls for games and applications - as it is a touch screen phone, there are just a row of numbers at the bottom of the screen during games and applications which correspond to letters and navigation, like how you would on a phone with buttons. It's quite difficult to use. Nevertheless, I like the phone. It looks great (except when placed next to an iPhone, and several other phones I have noticed due to the Cookie's plastic exterior!). Good phone.

Possibly the worst phone i've ever had. After 2 weeks of having it it kept turning itself on and off and re-setting every chnage i had made so i had to keep changing everything back. Not impressed. Then a few weeks later, the USB socket completely stopped working mening i couldn't plug in headphones/USB cable/ charger which lead to the phone running out of battery and no longer turning on. Sent it off for repair and the carphone warehouse where i bought it from refused to do anything about it, saying it was my fault because, by plugging the charger into the phone i had lifted the circuit board and the keyboard meaning it was unusable. Since when did charging a phone mean you could damage it?? Just poor design if you ask me. Very unsatisfactory phone, do not buy it! Its the cheapest touch screen phone for a reason- its terrible!
I am amazed that some people reviewing this phone haven't even got it yet, just ordered it!! Can't believe that can you? I have had this phone for 1 week and so far it is excellent and working well. It's the first touch screen phone I've had and it takes a bit of getting used to. The scrolling feature is good but if using fingers you need to be quite firm on the screen. OK when using stylus thingy.
I bought from Carphone Warehouse high street shop. Staff very helpful. Price £79.99. A bargain for what you get.

The very problem with this phone is that it randomly re-starts itself and erases all precious, stored messages in the inbox folder, sent folder, drafts, and "my folders". Also, it resets your customized configuration or settings. Has LG come up with an upgraded operating system to solve this? If so, how can I download and install it in my phone?

The lg cookie is an excellent phone, it has fantastic features and is very simple. However, it does not have voice dialling which in my eyes is not a problem,but otherwise this is an amazing phone
Good phone. But beware girls, its not great in your hald bag, i had mine a week and my screen cracked. Im super careful and i'v no idea how it happened. Just not a bag friendly phone. Cost me 80 quid to have it repaired too!
The Lg cookir is the best phone i have ever had the battery life is great i love the fact you can use a built in key board for texting the memory is great the camera is awesome so the vidio camera it also looks great on the whole i would give this phone 10/10
God reliable phone ( If you are up to date with modern technology ) I am a whizz at that but took me 1 day to work out , very easy to navigate once this period is over though ! I lov ethe looks and would definetly recommend it

The day i got my lg cookie i was amzed at the features then all the problems started with it the screen goes out of sinc and the camrea is good and the music player is loud but afetr 4 months the phone starts to freeze and one day my phone just switched it self of and wouldnt come on it only wen to the lg screen dont buy it you will be disapointed.

Every phone has its problems most touch screens can be slow and crash its because they have such big memory's and storage. I think the problem is the carphone warehouse these phones at a rip off price!! BUY FROM ORANGE!!!!!!! much better quality at cheaper price!! =] x
i'm 13 years old and i got mine from carphone ware house in march and about 2 months later it stated to crash and its been crashing ever since i took it back so i could get some advise and they said i had to download the system again. so i downloaded the system again and it still crashes.... mostly when i blue-tooth something.Its also slow an when i click something it opens another things and sometimes it decides to turn off on me. the most annoying thing is that it goes blue the screen and the camera can't zoom in and is quit rubbish. Also the pen that you have scratches the phone even when u dont press on hard.
i'd recommend you not to get this phone as it is absolutly RUBBISH!! .........i'm never getting and LG AGAIN!!
Well I suppose this phone is quite good, however, I've had this phone for near on a year now and I must say the main thing that out weighs the bad points against the good is that it master resets itself now and again with no warning; it deleted your inbox/outbox/changes your wallpaper to the default. This way sound like nothing but believe it after having it a while it really does 'do your head in' to be perfectly honest as it's very tedious to change everything back to how you want it. Myself being a 15 year old girl with a contract I do have to count how many texts I use and when this resetting happens it deletes all the texts I've sent which is frustrating because then I don't know how many I have sent :@ anyway, all in all this phone is actually fine really apart from the resetting but I am yet to find out how to stop the resetting!
dont get this fone my friend has it and you cant hear anything if she rings someone off it no one can hear her it is a terrible fone it might be good for a month but then it gets worst and worst if you dont want to throw your money away then dont get it . It backs up all my text messages, and I recieve them in great amounts the next day (up to 100!)
Its turns off and on all the time.
Its dissconnects me from someone if Im talking on the phone
Altough the touch screen is big, it is very clumsy, and selects the wrong thing.
It only supports mp3 files, therefore, the amount of music you can put from you're computer is limited.
It loses its charge EXTREMELY quick.
It very rarely goes on to its QWERTY keyboard, unless the option is selcted from the menu.
You CANNOT change the themes.
The camera is only 3.0, not 3.2.
Its loses its signal, all the time.
My stylus is ALREADY broken.
The keypad locks after 2 seconds of it being unlocked!
The video quality is awful, it dosent keep in time with the sound.
And, my main problem, is it crashes. And I dont just mean once. All the bloody time >:[
So yea. Please, for the love of christ, dont get this phone.
And although it has all these cool features, it gets very boring.

This is the worst phone ever, it crashes all the time and then crashed with the flashing lg logo. I then sent it off to have a firmware update to "fix" the problem, and then a week after i had it back it came up with the same thing a complete waste of space and LG's customer service is a complete and utter disgrace!!!

this phone is good for it's quality, but i got mine in march and i recently leaned on it and totally smashed the screen i was gutted. but i was looking at reviews and 5/500 were good reviews. i think LG isn't the brand of mobile you should be getting, smsung or sony ericson is the best so far

I have had this phone 6 months and for the past 4 months it has been in for repairs 3 times. It has crashed when charging so wouldn't turn on for ages, I've had applications running on the phone which I hadn't opened, i find that when i'm texting sometimes it can go slow or i type something then a different word will appear to the one i selected if using predictive text, once your battery gets to 1 bar the battery goes very quickly which is frustrating if you're out and can't get to charge it.I find the camera doesn't zoom in which is a pain if you're trying to take a picture of somethng more than 15-20ft away (not sure if it's meant to have zoom or not) I've had enough of this phone and i'm now going to go on contract and read a lot more reviews before i purchase another phone
I'm getting this fone In december from Carphone ware house and it seems like a cool phone. Plus people have said that it needs to charge everyday but what the heck. If it crashes down then just take the battery and put it in again. So i think that getting the lg cookie is reasonable. I mean what phone does'nt have it's bad sides?Plus i will love it when i show off to my classmates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love this fone i am gettin it tommorow and i am so excited, this fone looks absoultley amazin, plus therr are actually 6 colours black, Vandyke brown, Anodizing Silver, Elegant gold, PINK and WHITE AQUA!!!! i'm gettin it in pink. this fone can look very feminine or masculine. cant wait 2 get it luv the idea of the drawing pad, not many phones come wiv that. The widgets are also quite cool !!!! :P xx
This phone is an absolute nightmare. Texting is ridiculously difficult. The touch screen is very irresponsive, the phone is VERY slow and freezes frequently. It’s made out of cheap plastic therefore meaning it breaks easily.. This has been the worst phone I have ever bought, my advice stay well away.

Really really really good fine, i would defionatly recomed it, the camera is good, the memory could be better but for the price it is really good, :D and now 50quid and the carphone ware house with 10quid free credit, what you get for the moeny is really good. RECOMEND IT
Had this phone for about 4 months now and still love it!! memory is alright but if u want alot of songs u will need a memory card aswell. battery lasts about 4 days on mine, it has never crashed, never turned itself off, never lost any of my numbers. I also use the browser alot aswell and its brilliant!!

my son bought the cookie in August 2009 and now 4 months later it would not charge up, took it carphone warehouseto get fixed, the phone came back and they say it beyond repair due to physical repair, my son is 13 and it always me (dad) who charges it, i've my samsung j600 for 3 years without any problems.
the phone is very simple, if you just want a touchscreen phone get it. Its got many problems as Lg say they're filling the 'low' end of the touch screen market. The touch screen is very flimsy and is like cushion compared the the solid iphone screen, if you want a touchscreen phone with good stuff, don't get an LG, get a nokia 5530 or samsung tocco lite
