The LG KS360 is the first handset to be released by LG that features a full QWERTY keyboard with decent multimedia features as well. This is the LG’s first venture to release a device with the full keyboard in a non Smartphone into the mass market. It does so by cutting out on the features that would otherwise make the device too expensive. This makes this device stand out from the other phones in the market such as the BlackBerry Bold, which came with all the top class features.

Specifications:
- Size: 101.5 x 51 x 16.8 mm
- Weight: 108 g
- Screen: 2.4 inch TFT screen that allows up to 256000 colors to be displayed with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution
- Memory: Onboard memory of 15 MB sufficient to hold up to 1000 phonebook entries/ Memory can be expanded up to 15 MB using the microSD memory card slot up to a maximum of 4 GB
- Battery: Talk time up to 5 hours/ Standby time up to 430 hours
- Camera: 2 MP camera which can capture still shots with up to a 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution

- Music: Media player can play a range of formats including MP3 and MPEG4
- Other features: Photo and video editor/ Voice memo/ FM radio

The LG KS360 has a nice large screen that comes in handy to view WebPages. This screen is easy to view even in natural daylight. The icons in the menu are well spaced, making it easy for you to see and select an option even if you have poor eyesight. The shortcut keys are situated below the screen. The slide out keypad is both intuitive and easy to use. The keys are well separated which means that even a user with large fingers would find it easy to use to type out messages and emails. The keypad is the best feature of this phone as the keys are well raised off the surface of the phone and thus allows for easy typing. The phone also looks more expensive than some phones such as the HTC Touch, which is definitely one of the KS360’s advantages. The touch screen is one of the most responsive in all the phones with touch screens out in the market right now. It is actually almost as good as the iPhone.

The KS360 is not lacking in features either. It does have a basic camera along with enough memory to store a decent music collection. The main thing criticism about the phone is its connectivity options. Without 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi or even GPS, feature wise, the phone really lags behind when compared to phones such as the Nokia N95, which costs almost the same. It does compensate for this by having an excellent build quality guaranteed to last for a good couple of years without a problem. Overall, if you choose to buy this phone on the basis of its keyboard alone, there is little chance of you being disappointed.

I have one thing to say about this phone in general. THe keypad's letters K, L, O and M double up as the up down left and right keys. I have had 3 of these phones now, as I have asked them to be replaced due to the same fault. When typing messages, the button does not act as the letter, but as the direction button, resulting in my text been written in the line above or back a space. As an example, if I was to type talk, it would result tak, and the crusor between the a and the k. Because of tihs I'm in buying the upgrade of this phone, the LG GW520, the the direction buttons are seperate to the rest of the phone. Apart from that, it is a really great phone :)

I had this phone for christmas last year, I was expecting something more than what the phone actually is. Texting is easier if your used to a keyboard rather than text buttons. For some reason, the phone decides to switch off at random times. Sometimes if I'm looking at images, it turns off. If I'm listening to music, it turns off and so on and so forth. I have had this phone for eight or nine months now and if you're a person who takes your phone everywhere with you, it scratches quite easily. However, the music player is good and increases to a high volume. You need to buy a memory card, the camera is 2.0mp but it's not the end of the world. right? Apart from these MINOR issues (and me being slightly fussy), I think the phone is reliable to a certain extent and much easier to use than a touch-screen phone.

It is an amazing phone, especially for keen texters, but it is a bit chunky! The other downside is i'm not quite sure how to get rid of the shortcuts on the home screen page, this is irritating because i keep accidentally pressing the browser button, which costs me about 1 pound.
