LG KF510 review - honest LG KF510 reviews

If thin is in, then LG’s KF510 would be included in the crowd – and probably the queen bee even. At 10.9 mm, this slider is slim and very stylish, too. As one of the phones that made their debut in Barcelona where the World Congress was held, LG’s KF510 seems aimed to strengthen the company’s hold on young consumers. Also, the unit, just like that of KF700, possesses touch sensitive controls as well.

It should be pointed out that the KF510 does not share the limelight with regards to the full touchscreen function of the KF700. Speaking of young, this mobile phone features dancing lights. Well, animated lights beneath the d-pad region, to be exact. When the d-pad is being used, the lights start to have a life of their own. They call this ‘interactive touch lighting.’ A little distracting but cool nonetheless.

LG provides the market with color choices. You don’t want the stardust dark gray? Then try the sunset red! Don’t want either? Too bad, those are the only colors---for now. Now let’s examine the specs. The body made up of tempered glass and metal frames provides the needed durability and strength particularly against scuffs and accidental drops.

Up front, you’ll be greeted by a 2.2 inch display screen, touch sensitive navigation keys and an attractive exterior. Remember, two options. Both showcasing the durable materials of metal and glass. Slide the display upwards and out goes the alphanumeric keypads. In addition, you’ll see a 3megapixel multifunctional camera gingerly installed at the back of the mobile unit.

It’s dimension: 104 x 49.5 x 10.9mm. For individuals who scour the market and the web for slim sliders, this may be the one for you. Also included are customary features like media player, FM radio, video recording, built-in camera (autofocus, flash and image stabilizer), USB, Bluetooth and email. The slim slider is bound to have its limitations, too. Just like the KF700, WiFi is out of the picture, or in this case, out of the mobile phone. So is 3G and infrared.

These are the specifications and limitations of the KF510. If you desire for style to trump over special functions, then it’ll be a safe bet for you to acquire said unit. Adding a tad of fashion yet still maintaining the functionality of a mobile phone, LG’s KF510 is certainly more than an accessory of style. This unit will be out March of 2008 in markets worldwide.
