The LG KG320 is one of the new phones to be launched by LG to meet the success of the LG chocolate. This is not the slimmest or the smallest phone on the market. But it makes up for this by being a simple petite phone that can be considered to be a portable multimedia device. The best feature of the KG320 is that it falls on the lower end of the price spectrum.

The KG320 is a slim phone and can be easily slipped into your pocket. It is much more pocket friendly than phones like the Nokia 5610, which is quite heavy. This phone is light enough to be carried around your neck. The display on the KG320 is pretty large for a phone in its class. This when combined with the streamlined keypad, means that the LG KG320 looks like a fancy flat MP3 player, instead of a normal phone. Even though the KG320 can look pretty plain to look at, it does feel pretty solid and its sharp edges will have some sort of appeal to users who are sick of the rounded edged phones that the market seems to be flooded with. The phone maintains a minimalist appearance with clean lines and sharp edges. The number of shortcut keys has been kept to a bare minimum with just a single key to be used for both the MP3 and the camera function. The left spine of the phone has a port that is covered. The keys on the numeric keypad are pretty large and easy to read. They are also well spaced which means that they can be used effectively even if you have large fingers. This makes the keypad almost as good as the one on the Nokia 5610. The navigation pad is also easy to use. The only criticism here would be the central button which is too flat to offer any sort of tactile feedback.

Overall, the phone is a good budget phone and can definitely be one that you should consider if you are on a budget. The camera is not as good as the cameras on phones such as the Nokia 5310, which you really can’t expect, as the KG320 is cheaper. The phone comes with 2 batteries in its box, which is a good thing as a spare battery is always useful, especially if you need to use the phone for longer than one battery will allow you to. The 3.5 mm port will definitely satisfy audiophiles, though the limited 120 MB will not.
