When you look at the new LG Venus, the first thing that would come into your mind would be that it looks cool. The Venus has two screens; one is larger than the other. The larger one is for display, while the smaller one is for user interface. That´s right, the latest LG mobile phones have touchscreen now, which is something that a lot of consumers find very innovative and it also has a full numeric keypad that consumers find very practical.

The Venus is considered a very beautiful mobile phone having a slide design that everyone seems to want their mobiles to have. It is currently available in shiny pink, pastel pink, red and black. The Venus is also equipped with a video camera, an FM radio, a 3.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, an MP3 player and memory that is as big as 8GB.

It might seem common for the LG Venus to have navigation keys that are touch-sensitive, but these keys are also virtual keys that are context sensitive, meaning that the keys´ functions vary depending on whatever you want to do with your mobile. LG calls this little touchscreen the InteractPad. Apparently, LG found out what the consumers like when they came up putting a touchscreen on a traditional slide mobile phone. They knew that everyone liked the touchscreen interface, but didn´t like it for texting, so they included the numeric keypad with the LG Venus package.

Another great thing about the Venus is that even if you turn your mobile phone sideways, you can continue viewing in landscape mode for the display and the touchscreen interface. The mobile may be quite a sight to behold, but it is still bigger than the latest phone models that have been coming out in the past few years. But don´t worry; the Venus is neither that big nor heavy.

If you want a pretty phone, the LG Venus is definitely it. It looks absolutely stunning with its glossy finish. If you like customizing your mobile´s themes, it already comes with great theme choices.

Even though the Venus is not a 3G mobile, its multimedia features don´t slack off. It has a music player that you would find serving its purpose, the touchscreen works very well and you don´t have to open the numeric keypad while browsing through your playlists, it has Bluetooth support for wireless stereo headset, and its camera is well enough for taking pictures as well as video clips.
