Motorola ZINE ZN deals This phone which is yet to be brought out by Motorola is a fantastic combination of top class technology from two of the biggest industry leaders – Motorola and Kodak. The Zine ZN which has also taken up the name of MotoZine happens to be the first of its kind with the novel imaging technologies from Kodak and of course the Motorola ModeShift. The combination brings out user friendly results as a mobile system which gives the user the ability to actually avail the luxury of a fantastic imaging experience which has room for creativity and of course easy sharing. The key function of the phone is to act as a camera phone since the high resolution camera is one of the unique selling points of the phone. Also you can easily upload your photos via the Kodak Gallery Link to an online gallery.

The phone takes the candy bar form factor and so the phone’s looks seem to be quite standard. However the edges are nicely curved. The phone seems a little cramped especially below the screen bringing some difficulty while using and also the somewhat flat keyboard is a little “non intuitive” by nature. The left edge of the phone is home to the microUSB port and the 3.5mm jack while the right side homes the volume and lock controls. The presence of the AV jack lets users view their photos on the TV. Also the variety of options related to photo capture and edit modes will be highly welcomed by people who love taking photos. Some modes include negative, sepia and panorama!

On the whole, considering that the MotoZine is a camera phone it is a pretty good buy. Also call quality and clarity is very good mostly because of the incorporation of the CrystalTalk technology. This adjusts the quality of the audio according to the background noise thereby enhancing the conversational experience. Photos taken with the Zine ZN are fantastic because of the presence of the Kodak Imaging technology and also the Kodak Perfect Touch; clearer and brighter photos in no time! On the other hand, the phone has come under much criticism for not being a “top camera phone” especially considering the fact that it’s a product of Motorola and Kodak together. The phone leaves behind a lot of unmet high expectations especially when considering the 8MP Nokia N86. Also the upcoming Sony Ericsson Idou has a 12 MP which is unmatchable by Motorola although the price tag is heavier on the Idou. On the other the MotoZine has to be given credit for being better than other supposedly high resolution camera phones like the Samsung Pixon.
