Details
The keyboard is going to be the biggest draw here, and rightly so, because mobile phones really don´t come with anything better than this one. The keys are very decently sized and nicely spread out, and give a really satisfying tap as you press them. The spacebar key is also of a very nice size, something that you often don´t see on other similar keyboards. And just to the left of that, the ALT key, which turns the middle set of letters into a numeric keypad, is also very nicely proportioned.
So what can you use this keyboard for? Well, what can´t you use it for is probably the easier question, because this thing ticks just about every box when it comes to mobile communications. Super quick and easy to navigate access is given to all your favourite social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Add to that email accounts from Ovi Mail, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Windows Live Hotmail and thousands of other email providers and you start to realise how handy this little thing is. You can of course create a new Ovi Mail account (Ovi being Nokia´s new communications/networking hub), but you can also get into any existing accounts simply using your username and password. There´s no need to download any additional software at all. Push email is also available. And a big draw too is going to be the fact that Instant Messaging is made just as easy to use on the 6760 as it is on a a computer, with the same easy access to programs like Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger.
Aside from all this thumb-exercising, the 6760 is a decent phone in other areas. The inbuilt A-GPS works in tandem with the fantastic Nokia Maps (and features like 3D landmarks and terrain maps) meaning that you´ll never have to worry about getting lost again.
Add to this an impressive music player, a decent 3.2MP camera, a surprisingly neat and compact shape and a bunch more impressive features and you can see why we think this is going to sell very well indeed.
Conclusion
One of those phones that´s so good at multi-tasking – whether it´s tweeting, emailing, IM´ing, sharing online, browsing the internet or countless other thing – that you sometimes forget it can make calls too. Get your fingers and thumbs hunting out a deal because this thing is going to sell quicker than you´d imagine.
