Nokia E63 Review - read honest Nokia E63 reviews
The Nokia E63 is one of the new smartphones to be launched by Nokia some time later this year. There was a lot of pressure on Nokia to release a phone model that was at least as good as its excellent predecessor, the Nokia E71. The E63 features a full QWERTY keyboard which allows the user to type out emails and messages easily. This device is slightly cheaper than the E71, though it does come with really good features.

The phone features a tablet shape and adopts the candy bar form factor. The QWERTY keyboard is below the shortcut keys that are situated below the screen. The device looks different from other smart phones like the HTC Touch, by having a plastic body. This makes it look more like the Blackberry Curve. The rear of the phone is covered by a soft touch paint which makes the phone feel comfortable to hold and operate. The screen is also nice and bright allowing excellent visibility even in outdoor bright conditions. The disadvantage surrounds the fact that this device does not have a dedicated button for power. This means that the device can be turned off only by using the call-end button. The volume of the music player can only be controlled using the sound- specific application which is annoying, as a volume control key would have made a huge difference.
The mono speaker of the E63 was good enough for listening to music as well as ringtones. This does not have the stereo quality of speakers in phones such as N95. The keyboard was also quite good and allowed easy texting even for users with large fingers. The E63 also performed well in terms of how its operating system was able to coordinate all the activities of the phone. This phone also has a modified home screen which offers speech bubbles in addition to a view of the general day’s activities. This screen also has a type-and-dial feature which allows all the contacts to be accessed easily. Overall, the E63 is a solid choice in Smartphone and is one phone that won’t disappoint you in any way.
