Nokia Remade Review - read honest Nokia Remade reviews
The Nokia Remade is one of the newest environment friendly phones to be released to the market. The phone is still in the drawing board stage, so it would be some time before it is available in the market. Full details about its specifications and appearance have not been released yet. The first Nokia friendly phone was the Eco Sensor which had the ability to detect any changes in the environment and inform the user. There have been many more attempts at “green gadgets” such a biodegradable phone which had a sunflower seed incorporated in it. This was just a concept phone by a university.Specifications:

The body of the phone is metallic with a light silver outer casing. It is shaped like the Nano but is taller. The keys of the phone look pretty solid and are similar to the Motorola RAZR. The back of the phone is also silver colored with a “Remade” logo printed on it which only adds to the phone’s appeal. The sleek silver design looks good and stands out in a crowd. The phone is not very pocket friendly though as it is quite long. The entire body of the phone is made of recycled aluminum which has been extracted from used cans. Any plastic that has been used has been taken from used bottles. The keys are slightly rubbery to improve the grip when texting. Even this rubber has been taken from old tires. The large keys will definitely allow for quick and easy messaging. The printed electronics on the keys are easy to read. The screen is of a decent size. The backlight of the phone might be a bit weak, but this is one thing that is expected in a phone designed to save energy. Further development of this phone includes the incorporation of organic materials into the phone in the form of internal components. Here polylactic plastics will be used which are both cheap and biodegradable. When all this has been done the phone would be completely made from recycled materials. This is definitely a huge leap from the Evolve which had 50% of its body made from renewable materials.
Overall the phone seems to be an interesting buy and is definitely one that will catch any user’s attention. The setback in its development surrounds finding appropriate materials for its electrical components. Even if the phone is not able to do this by using recycled materials alone it is still very environment friendly as it reduced landfill and conserves energy. The metallic body of the phone looks good and is a massive improvement from some of the more glossy plastic models Nokia has been making like the 5610.
