The phone has some great features for business use such as the Nokia Quick Office application which allows you to keep up to date with business documents sent via email. The phone also has support for VoIP calling over the WLAN device built into the phone. The phone is sleek in design and has a vast range of communication options so is ideal for the business user.
Specifications
The phone has an integrated WLAN card which means you can connect to high speed broadband networks at home or in the office or even at WiFi hotspots. The phone has the capability of VoIP which means you can make cheaper or even free calls to your colleagues or friends and family. The phone also has a USB connection for transferring files to and from your PC and phone and you can also take advantage of the Bluetooth connection which is also available on this phone. The phone has some great communication options such as MSN messenger or even Yahoo messenger and you can use the email client to send and receive emails with attachments if need be.
This phone would be ideal for a small business to use because there are options such as group messaging, group emails and an application called Nokia Team Suite which allows you to share emails and messages with colleagues. You can also use this application to view ZIP files and files of other formats so that emailing your clients or colleagues can be done easily on your mobile while you’re on the go. The phone does have a camera but it’s not all that great – it’s only 2 mega pixels but I guess it does the job if you need to take a photo.
Looks
This phone is a very good looking phone measuring in at 114.8 x 46 x 12 mm in dimensions you can see that it is a very slim line phone. You can choose from three colours for this phone; black, silver or bronze. All the colours are nice and make the phone look stylish and classy. I personally prefer the silver and black colours because the bronze seems to distract from the sleek look of the phone. The phone’s display is 2 inches and offers support for 16 million colours so viewing photos and videos on here will be great – plus you can view documents easily too.
I really like the design – it’s classic but sophisticated and its slim line shape makes it easy to use and easy on the eyes. It could never be called a brick phone and it’s not too small that you’d have trouble finding it. I like the look of the phone and the colours available are definitely suitable for business use and simple personal use.
Design
This phone has a great design and it’s easy to use as well. The phone itself has a five way navigation key as well as soft keys for making and ending calls. The operating system is Symbian and it runs S60 third edition feature pack 1 which is easy to use and fast. This phone also has an LED indicator to tell you when you have a new email message which is very handy for the business user. I’d say that the overall design of this phone is great and it suits its purpose as a business phone very well. It’s not too over the top but it’s classy and stylish as well.
Overall
Overall, I really like this phone as a business phone and it has a good range of features which are all very useful for the business user in us all. The slim line design of this phone and the choice of three colours make it easily suited to almost any business user. The features of this phone are great and you really do have everything you need on this phone. The design is simple and sophisticated which means it’s ideal for business use. I really like the LED indicator to let you know when you have new emails because this can be really handy.
The fact that you can use VoIP on this phone makes it even better and the use of the integrated WLAN card is perfect because it means you can connect to wireless networks for mobile broadband. The phone seems to have all the necessary connections and features that you could possible need for a business phone and it’s really well done and almost flawless in design. The only thing I don’t like about this phone is that the design of the outside is a little different to the inside design. The outside is simple and classic yet the inside is high tech and stylish.
All in all, I really like the phone and although the outside is simple and the inside is high tech it all seems to work rather well together. The design of the internal software is great and you will probably get a lot out of this phone if you’re a business user. If you want a phone for personal use then I suggest you look elsewhere because if you don’t like business phones then you will probably not like this one at all. Business users will love it though – it has everything you could ever need.
