The Samsung D500, as mentioned earlier, is very compact, as well as sleek, which makes for a great looking phone. The right side of the phone hosts the camera shutter button and the headset port, which is also used to connect the external speakerphone speaker. The left side of the phone hosts the volume rocker as well as the infrared port. The top right side of the phone has the lanyard eyelet, while the bottom of the phone is occupied by the charger port. When the slider is opened, the camera is revealed, the LED flash and the self – portrait mirror flanking the camera module on either sides of it. There is a steel railing revealed which facilitates the slide function between the 2 parts of the phone. The speaker of the phone is located in the same area as is the place where you put your ear to hear what the person on the other line is speaking. Another notable aspect is the small ridge under the screen, which facilitates easy sliding of the phone upwards.
The Samsung D500 is destined to be an all – time favourite due to its heavy durability and its great set of features and a very reasonable price. The included headset as well as the speaker are bound to get a lot of music lovers on board, giving the Nokia 6230i a good run for its money!
