The Samsung Emporio Armani is equipped with a good set of features and it is primarily a personal phone with a music based feature set. The phone has a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus. The camera can also record video and there is a secondary camera for video calling. The phone also has FM radio and an organiser which are both good features and they appear to be well designed. The phone is also a 3G device which means it’ll have high speed internet at about 3.6Mbps which is ideal for downloading files and music and surfing the web.
The phone’s media player is the best feature on this phone and is the main focus. It has support for almost all formats of music and video including MP3, e-AAC+ and WMA and the video player has support for MPEG4 and 3GP so you should be able to easily enjoy your music and video files without any trouble at all. Looks
In terms of looks, this phone is a bit bizarre really. Some people would say it is sleek and stylish but it is almost too sleek that it verges on being quite boring in reality. It’s a shame too because with a brand name like Armani attached to it you’d expect a killer design but it’s a simple candy bar shape with a very slim and flat look to it. The handset itself measures in at about 114.9mm by 47.4mm by 12mm so as you can see it’s very slim indeed. The phone weighs about 91 grams which is nice and light but not too light that you’d lose it.
The phone is currently available in two colours; black and white. This is always a good thing; it’s nice to see a phone available in more than one colour. We have a feeling that this phone would actually look better in white which is odd because white is a very unusual colour for a phone – but we feel it would give it an edgy and fashionable look which might make a little less boring. As it stands the phone isn’t ugly by any means but we were expecting a bit more from Armani – and Samsung for that matter.
Design
In terms of design, the Samsung Emporio Armani has a good design to it and the software and applications all appear to work well together, which is always a nice thing to see. The phone’s operating system and user interface seem to flow well and it would appear as though this phone will be very easy to use and the controls and software seem easy enough to learn so even basic mobile phone users wouldn’t have a problem. All in all, the design of the phone is good and we think it’ll do very well in terms of sales because of the sleek handset and well designed software.

All in all, the Samsung Emporio Armani is a great looking phone with a fantastic set of features. Because of the high quality design and features, this phone is likely to do very well in terms of sales and will probably be a success. The phone’s release date is still unclear but it was expected any day now so keep your eyes peeled if you’re interested in this phone. The price of the phone is a bit varied too but it’ll probably be available for around £250-300 on PAYG and for free on contract which means you should be able to get a good deal somewhere.
The phone’s features are very good; the camera and media player are probably the best features of this phone and it’s likely that it’ll do very well because of this. If the phone is released in time for Christmas then the sales for it will probably be very good over the holidays and with the New Year coming up the January sales will probably see a lot of offers and deals available for all mobile phones so it might be worth waiting to buy this phone.
