Samsung L770 review - Honest Samsung L770 reviews
This model is still yet to be released by Samsung. But it already has a reputation going for it. Some are saying that the Samsung L770 has outshone various mobile phones, including those of Samsung itself. Many have commented that among the mobile phones exhibited by Samsung at the World Mobile Congress 2008 in Barcelona, Spain, this slider looks the best.
The Samsung L770 is black, with a stylish finish to it. The word “sleek” is an understatement when describing this phone, because it stands out even from the nearest competition. We can debate on the appropriate word, though we may agree to settle on “desirable”.
The Samsung L770 is considered an upgrade of the Samsung L760, with greater speed and more style. While the L760 was created for people who want to create blogs, upload video clips to YouTube and share other content in the Internet, Samsung has as yet confirmed only the blogging assistance feature of the L770.
This mobile phone measures 102 x 48 x 14.2 mm and weighs in at 93 grams – which is light, especially for a 3.5 G phone. It has a 2.1 inch QVGA display screen. It has HSDPA connectivity, though it has no infrared port – which is no big deal anyway even for people who make their mobile phones important to their lives.
With this phone, a user can communicate with others using text, sound and images. It has SMS, EMS, and the MMS, or the multimedia messaging system. You can therefore combine texts and sounds with either images or video clips. Users can also send e-mail messages through this phone.
The L770 is said to be part of Samsung’s efforts to maintain and improve on imaging capabilities in mobile phones, while increasing features that belong to entertainment and services.
So while the L770 has a 2-megapixel camera – and users can edit pictures with it – this mobile phone also comes with Media player, FM radio with RDS, Internet browser, RSS reader, USB, document viewer, and microSD card support. It also has a USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP connectivity, making it easy for users to transfer text and other files.
It is less affordable, though it is definitely more stylish compared with other Samsung mobile phones. And this says a lot, since Samsung is already second in global sales of mobile phones.
While this mobile phone has already seen the light of public scrutiny, it is expected to be released only on the third quarter of the year – some predict July, with the retail price of £180 at launch, though it is reported that the price is already increasing. Maybe it’s time you place your order?
