Samsung Corby S3650
Summary
Dinky, nifty, and downright functional, the Corby could be just what you´re looking for if you want a decent touchscreen but don´t want to take out a bank loan to afford one.
More than capable on many levels, the phone also excels in the realms of social networking thanks to the various widgets and gadgets working in tandem with the fantastic TouchWiz interface (our favourite touchscreen operating system, no less).

Details
The Samsung Corby (also known by its model number: S3650), is a phone designed for those fo you who are digitally connected. Yep, you guessed it, that means Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and all the emailing and messaging you could hope for are all supported on this thing big time.
This thing is a big part of Samsung´s new corporate strategy, based around the idea of “touch for every lifestyle.” But all you need to worry about is that this means Samsung are taking their role as global leaders in the touchscreen market very seriously indeed, meaning they´ve put a whole lot of effort into getting this thing just right.
“We see strong growth opportunities in this sector and will continue to pioneer new markets with innovative technology. The Corby is consistent with Samsung’s legacy of developing new products and technologies designed for specific audiences and bringing new devices quickly to market,” explained JK Shin, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Communications Division.
The Corby actually represents a bit of a step change for Samsung´s lower-level (or youth-oriented) phones. Previously their efforts have been quite bland, but with its eye-catching looks and two-tone diagonal contours, the Corby is pretty impressive. You can chop and change the back covers, choosing from a, well, baffling array of colours, such as Jamaican Yellow, Cupid Pink, Minimal White, and Festival Orange. We´ve always wanted a bit of Cupid Pink in our life...
“Globally, we are number one for full-screen touch phones and recognize the importance of social networks in the modern mobile industry. Samsung’s target audiences are at the heart of its business strategy and the design and functionality of Samsung Corby meets the needs of a highly digitally connected and style conscious youth audience – as does the affordable price point,” that man JK Shin again.
And he´s right. This thing is affordable – one of the cheapest touchscreens you can get your hands on, it fact. But it still offers you plenty. All that social networking goodness is complemented by decent multimedia capabilities. The 2.8-inch QVGA screen delivers a quality online video experience and its quad band connectivity and support for EDGE networks means that you can stay in touch regardless of where you find yourself. There´s also a basic but decent enough camera, support for various community sites such as YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Photobucket, and all of this is brought to you via the fantastic Touchwiz UI and with a haptic feedback system. The haptic feedback gives you a tactile response when you make a selection on the screen.

You can also customise the handset and interface with useful applications and widgets that move via drag-and-drop and add apps and other programs with ease through the Samsung online widgets store. The handset also supports “one finger zoom” and “smart unlock,” Samsung’s neat technologies that can be found in their premium (i.e. expensive) full touch devices such as the Jet.
Conclusion
What more needs to be said... affordable, feature-packed, and downright sexy, the Corby is a sure fire winner.

EXCELLENT smart phone, but doesnt have a USB cable with it :|
The pro...
Cute wee phone, modern lookingn not too pricy, cool applications
The negatives...
It doesn't sense that well, I constantly have to go back and forward between button and my fingers are slim.
it takes forever it write a message cause u have to concentrate on what your doing, if ur like me who often does something else while texting then this wont work.
And then to top it off 4 days after having the phone I knocked it off my bedside cabinet and the corner has fully chipped off. Now I know this is accidental damage but I wont expect a brand new phone to break so easily. Im sure everyone have dropped theirs at some time or another. Its just cheap plastic.
Overall, yes it a cheap phone, its also a crap phone. Really disappointed
should i get this ???????????????????????????
