Introduction

Samsung has launched its latest Ultra b mobile phone with the digital development Samsung S7220. Its looks are not too good however, but the features are rated good and thus Samsung claims to attract the customers.

 

Ultra b Samsung model is featured with 5 mega pixels camera and GPS (88 gms) that is too very light weight as compared to other Samsung GPS models in the market. It has got standard 2.2″ 240 x 320 pixel OLED panel which is fine in looks. However lack of features like Wifi makes it a bit dull and lacking behind in the mobile phone market. The looks and design has not achieved a smart phone’s quality but it still is working for the average customers due to the god built in softwares and features. The silver color is an add-on to the looks and its bar styling makes it more attractive to look. The Samsung has tried to give it a classy and new look though not appreciated by the customers.

 

The mobile phone must be a complete entertainment package for the customers to use. The small features like its dimensions and weight are also important while buying the mobile phone. The displays are TFT with 256K colors and the size has been set as 320 x 240 pixels and 2.2 inches. The camera is also of fine quality providing audio-visual facility with 5 MP, 2592?1944 pixels, auto focus, LED flash camera. The most highlighted function is the model provides working good at GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. the other important features like UMTS 900/2100 MHz, GPRS/EDGE class 10, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps make it more attractive for the customers to buy.

The overall performance of this model after looking at the characteristics mentioned above is good. The Samsung’s UltraB S7220 (Silver) is highly recommendable for the average mobile phone users. Whereas, the high ranged users who consider the looks and design and other high technology advancements important, are not recommended for buying it. The connectivity of Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, standard microUSB port is also good. The battery back up of 960 mAh battery can be considered as good too.

 

The other general features are SMS, MMS and Email work well in model. The browsers include WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML. There are facilities for downloading games also. The phone supports the players like MP3/AAC/WMA player. An extra facility of Stereo FM radio with RDS is also available. There are built-in hands free for the music lovers. Voice memo and T9 dictionary makes it rated as a good phone for a regular usage. Thus, the Samsung Ultra B is rated as good phone but does not come into the brilliant category though for the extreme phone lovers.
