Samsung C300 Review - read honest Samsung C300 reviews
The Samsung C300 is one of the new practical budget phones to grace the market. This phone does not have any groundbreaking technology, or any striking appearance to boast about. What it has is a good value for the extremely low price tag it comes with. The phone looks very similar to the Samsung D900. This makes it look more expensive than it actually is. The main point of this phone is to allow easy calling and texting.

The phone looks sleek and shiny and features a slider phone form factor. Unfortunately, this slider mechanism is not smooth and is difficult to operate using only one hand. This is because the hinge is not spring loaded like the Nokia 5610, where the slider mechanism can be easily operated. The number keypad is well laid out with the keys well spaced from each other. This allows easy texting and can even be operated using one hand. You can text easily even if you have large fingers. The silver model of this phone looks better than the black, as the silver one is even shinier. The keys on the top half of the phone are well laid out preventing the unnecessary clutter seen in most slider phones. The phone’s loudspeaker is of decent quality, though not in the class of phones such as the W910i!
Call quality was pretty good with the sound being very clear even when the phone is used in noisy surroundings. You have the option of increasing the volume of the caller in addition to your volume, which is a nice touch. Even when making a call, there is a tiny jingle to let the user know when the call has been connected. The main disadvantage of this phone is the fact that it does not have a Bluetooth. This makes it annoying, as data cannot be transferred easily. The only way to transfer mp3’s to the phone is to download it off the air, which can be quite expensive. The ringtones that come with the phone are the polyphonic sounds that can be really annoying. The phone memory is also quite limited allowing only about 300 contacts to be stored which is quite low compared to the Nokia 5310. The C300 is quite pocket friendly and can be stowed away into even the smallest space.
