Samsung F300 Review - read honest Samsung F300 reviews
The Samsung F300 is one of the newest phones to be launched by Samsung later this year. This phone is in a league of its own, as it is the first “2 faced” phone to be launched. On one side of the phone it has the standard mobile phone interface. On the other side, it looks like an MP3 player, more along the lines of music players than music phones. This is the first phone in the market to successfully separate music and call functions in such a dramatic way. The phone will feature in the mid price range music phone market.

Even though the phone comes with 2 screens, the body of the F300 is impressively slim, though not as slim as the Samsung C170. The thickness is comparable to a CD case and with the nice rounded edges, the phone looks simply smashing! The “phone” side of the F300 has a small keypad and a small screen as well. The keys on the keypad are well spaced for comfortable typing. This might be difficult if you have large fingers, so make sure you try the F300 before buying it. The keys are as spaced as the Nokia 5610, so at least you could try this phone out if you are not able to use the F300. The small screen is a bit of an issue as it is only large enough to display about 3 lines of text at a time. So, if you want to access web pages, then you will need to use the other larger screen. Switching from one screen to the other can be quite annoying. The larger screen has a much better resolution and allows clear sharp pictures to be displayed.
The other features of the phone are good. Transferring music is easy, as it can be does using the USB or the Bluetooth. Unfortunately, downloading music directly of the air is annoying as the phone is not a 3G phone. The camera is good enough, though not in the class of phones like the Nokia N95. The music menu is easy to scroll through using the touch sensitive area below the screen.
Overall, the phone is a good buy is you are interested in the 2 screen feature. If you are not really interested in this you could consider a Walkman or XpressMusic handset.
