I think this is a good phone but is let down by the fact that it doesn´t have 3G connectivity.

Virgin VM202 Review
In a word or two
The Virgin VM202 is a fashionable slider phone designed to suit even the smallest budget.
The Design
Virgin Media has joined forces with Alcatel to create the Virgin VM202, a bright pink slider that packs a lot into its frame and costs less than £30 on pay as you go. Available exclusively with Virgin Media for the first month, the VM202 is offered in “Dazzle Pink” exclusively through the network too.
Despite the price, the Virgin VM202 looks good. It is neat and has both a numeric keypad (on the front) and a full QWERTY – so it can comfortably support all your messaging needs. The case is black with vibrant pink touches; the screen is a good size and can be flipped to landscape mode when needed; and the slide-out keypad has 3 rows of keys together with a large space key. Virgin describes the QWERTY as “practical and soft to the touch”, letting you stay in touch with friends easily.
The handset weighs 109g so you can carry it with you wherever you go – and unlike advanced smartphones like the iPhone 4, you don’t need to be too concerned about misplacing it. Its combined fun exterior, inner ability, and £29.99 price tag make it ideal for weekends away or nights out, as well as a main handset.
Virgin VM202 Specifications
There is social networking integration on the Virgin VM202. There is access to Facebook and Twitter so you can chat with friends online and exchange messages whenever you feel like it. There is also instant messaging available on the phone and support for email clients including Hotmail, Google Mail and Yahoo. And to keep your communications running smoothly is the Opera Mini browser – this is also good for accessing news and entertainment sites on the web. In addition, there are widgets pre-installed for the likes of weather and news so navigation is pretty instant on this device.
For entertainment, the Virgin VM202 comes with a basic VGA camera for taking snaps of people you see and places you visit. Music wise, there is an MP3 player and FM radio onboard, together with a 3.5mm audio connector for listening through your own earphones. Although the internal memory is just 4MB, there is a microSD card slot on the phone and Virgin is giving a 1GB card with each handset. So you should be able to store plenty of snaps and tunes to keep you busy on the move.
Considerations
There is no support for 3G on the Virgin VM202 – but then you can’t have everything on a phone that costs less than the monthly contract price of owning some smartphones.
Verdict
If you’re on a budget and looking for a fun, social networking and messaging-focused handset, the Virgin VM202 is a good option. The price is right – and if you buy the phone with £10 top-up, you also get 300 texts thrown in for free – and the features let you communicate using a QWERTY keyboard, access the internet, listen to music and take photos.

This is the best phone I´ve had in my life.
This is an interesting and useful phone. With VGA camera and an MP3 player, this moblie met all my needs as I love music and like a simple camera not a high-tech one with lots of buttons! I recommend this phone for those who are just entering the mobile buisness. If I could change anything about this phone it would be its internet - love Facebook and Twitter but it´s a bit difficult to go on them with this phone. But still, this is a fantastic phone with GREAT value!
This phone is great and fantastic and also has lots of features. It´s a good phone with a VGA Camera, GPRS connection, and emails and bluetooth. I would advise you to get this as it´s better than an iPhone and it´s really good
