Best Talkmobile Pay As You Go Phones

Talkmobile offer two different Pay As You Go SIMs: Pay As You Go Rewards and Pay As You Go Essentials. Pay As You Go Essentials is a simple deal that offers Talkmobile’s lowest PAYG per-minute calls charges and text message charges, half price calls to other Talkmobile numbers and mobile data for 25 per day.

Pay As You Go Rewards offers customers rewards when they top up over a certain amount in a given month. Customers can select the system of rewards that suits them best from the following options:

Textmania Rewards – With this option, customers receive unlimited texts when they top up over £5. The amount of time unlimited texts are valid for depends on the top-up amount, ranging from 7 days for a £5 top up to 30 days for a £15 top up.

Globetalker Rewards – With this option, customers receive free international minutes to selected countries when they top up over £10. Rewards range from 75 international minutes for a £10 top up, to 300 international minutes for a £30 top up.

Chatterbox Rewards – This option rewards customers with free UK minutes when they top up over £5. Free minutes range from 30 for a £5 top up, to 120 for a £20 top up.

Familyfusion Rewards – This option provides customers with unlimited texts to Talkmobile numbers and free minutes to Talkmobile numbers and UK landlines when they top up. The Rewards range from 50 Talkmobile or UK landline minutes and unlimited Talkmobile texts for a £5 top up, to 200 Talkmobile or UK landline minutes and unlimited Talkmobile texts for a £20 top up.

• Contact your current network provider and ask for a ‘PAC code’. This is a ‘Porting Authorisation Code’ that lets Talkmobile move your number over to their network.
• Select and purchase your new PAYG phone or SIM, and pass on the PAC code to Talkmobile when you sign up. PAC codes are only valid for 30 days after they’re issued, so make sure you’re within the time limit.
• Talkmobile will then automatically transfer your number onto your new SIM.
• Note that you must provide your PAC code when you sign up to your new PAYG contract, you cannot port your current number to Talkmobile at a later date.

• PAYG customers can access the internet through Talkmobile’s network for a day for 25p. This comes with a daily limit of 25MB. After this limit is passed, data is charged at 10p per MB.
