Cheapest Blackberry Torch 9810 deals

A year ago, the first Blackberry Torch arrived to decidedly mixed reviews.

Many loved its combination of touchscreen functionality and slide out QWERTY keyboard, but to others it was a jack-of-all-trades and master of none.

Well, now the second incarnation of the phone has arrived in the form of the Torch 9810.

It’s got a faster processor, an updated operating system and many other minor tweaks and upgrades.

Overall, it’s a great handset with a premium feel, but the question is does it also have a premium price tag?

Lets investigate.

If you don’t want to pay anything up front to get your hands on the Torch 9810, these are the cheapest offers currently available.

Orange are offering the 9810 handset for nothing when you take out a £26 a month 2-year contract. That gives you 400 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data.

For a quid more a month (£27) on another two-year deal O2 will also give you the phone for free, along with 300 minutes and unlimited texts.

T-Mobile have a £28.35 a month deal, which bags you the 9810 for nothing. That few extra pounds get you 900 minutes, so if you make a lot of calls, that could very well be the deal for you.

For an even £30 a month, 3 will give you the handset along with 500 minutes and 5000 texts.

If you want to deal with Vodafone, for £30.17 a month you get the handset, 1200 minutes and unlimited texts. That’s their best offer if you want the phone for nothing.

If you don’t mind paying a fee up front for the handset, you can make savings over the duration of a long contract, so it’s certainly worth looking at this option.

O2 are currently offering a staggeringly good deal on the 9810, asking just £9.99 up front for the phone, with a monthly contract of £21.92. That gives you 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB. Get this deal while it lasts and it unquestionably represents the best value on offer.

T-Mobile also bring down their monthly cost to £24.59 a month with 300 minutes and unlimited texts if you pay them £99.99 up-front for the handset.

Cheapest overall deal

It’s impossible to look beyond O2’s £9.99 up-front, £21.92 a month deal. Over the course of the two years, you’re going to save a stack of money.

However, for that deal you only get 100 inclusive minutes, so if you’re more of a heavy duty user, the £26 per month offer from Orange, which gives you the handset for free, as well as 400 minutes and unlimited texts, might well represent the best all-round value.

Don’t forget the latest deals are always being added to the Best Mobile Contract comparison system; so make sure you check it out to find the best value offer that suits your specific needs.
