The Virgin brand spans a wide variety of sectors, but perhaps no more product is better known in the UK than its Virgin Media service that delivers cable TV and home broadband to millions of customers across the country. However, Virgin Mobile bagan offering cheap Virgin mobile deals in 1999, way before the cable business began to shake Sky’s monopoly on the entertainment industry. Nearly from the instant Virgin entered the mobile network industry as the country’s first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) it offered mobile broadband services in the shape of mobile USB data dongles, so it is no surprise to see Virgin Mobile offer a score of mobile broadband services to compete with the likes of Vodafone, EE and O2. Just like the latter of these competitors, Virgin Mobile partners with Huawei for the manufacture of its mobile broadband hubs.

Virgin Mobile Broadband Contracts

Pay Monthly Virgin Mobile Broadband Deals

Virgin Mobile doesn’t offer any Pay As You Go deals for its mobile broadband hub, but you do have the option to take out a 30 day rolling contract or spread the cost over a 12 month deal. As with Virgin monthly rolling phone contracts you get more flexibility and aren’t tied down for lengthy periods, but you will also have to pay a small upfront charge to cover the cost of the hub. Like the rolling monthly mobile deals offered by the likes of other MVNOs such as Giffgaff, ID Mobile and Smarty, you can opt to switch up or down your mobile broadband data plan from month to month. However, spreading the deal out over 12 months leaves you with nothing to pay upfront and low monthly payments. Ultimately, the choice is yours but it is useful to have both options. The hub allows you to connect up to 16 devices at once, and can also benefit from 3GB - 15GB data allowance that you can roll over from one month to the next. With a rolling monthly plan, you can suck it and see if you don’t have a good idea of your usage.
