With the A4 chip, Cortex-A8 central processor unit and PowerVR SGX 535 powering it, the Apple iPhone 4 is a formidable force when it comes to day to day operations (such as multitasking) as well as media playback.
This combination works so well on a mobile device that it is able to give users the benefit of making their very own HD masterpieces via the iMovie App for the iPhone 4. This is just not possible with the older units because of the processing power needed for such an operation.
The iPhone 4 is also no dummy when it comes to energy consumption. Individual chips are switched off whenever they are not in use, giving the device twice as much battery power.
DVD Worthy Captures
The Cupertino-based company packed in quite a surprise in the form of the Apple iPhone 4’s 5 megapixel camera. The snapper is able to capture stills in a 2592 by 1944 pixel resolution and is able to keep those photos print worthy with the use of its auto focus system coupled with the right LED flash.
The LED flash technology works for capturing video clips too, giving users the ability to capture DVD standard (720p at 30fps) videos any time of the day. A front facing video conferencing camera is included as well
