HTC Desire HD deals on contract

HTC Desire HD deals
The Desire HD, along with the Desire Z, is a follow up from HTC´s 2010 summer hit the HTC Desire. The Desire crammed a wide range of features into a simple and elegant Android handset and was a phenomenal success for the Chinese company in the UK – despite its Google branded sibling the Nexus One achieving poor sales.

The Desire HD aims to offer the same fantastic experience in terms of apps, entertainment and web browsing that were was found in the original Desire, but this time amping it up a notch. The first noticeable difference is the screen, which has been expanded to a very roomy 4.3". This makes it an ideal handset to complement many of the features found on board which include, as the name might suggest, HD video.

You cannot only watch HD videos on the Desire HD, either your own clips or streamed video from online services like YouTube, but you can also record your own 720p videos through the phones camera. You need not necessarily copy these videos over to your home computer as the Desire HD´s screen is itself perfect for viewing them with its WVGA resolution.

Operating the Desire HD is a breeze thanks to the 1GHz processor inside, which makes even the most demanding apps operate seamlessly. This is complemented by a hefty 768MB RAM to ensure that whatever you do with this phone you are never lagging behind. The interface itself is not the default Android system that some people will be familiar with, but has been augmented with HTC´s Sense UI. This interface has been used on a number of previous HTC phones and will be instantly familiar to anyone who has used one of them.

The Desire HD is a perfect phone for browsing around online, thanks in part to its many connectivity options available – including Wi-Fi, 3G as well as GPRS and EDGE. You can have emails from various email accounts pooled into one inbox and web browsing is virtually unlimited thanks to the inclusion of Adobe Flash. There is great support for social networks like Facebook and Twitter, with these services even being integrated into the interface´s Friend Stream. This will show you all the latest happenings that are going on online.

Judging by the success of the original Desire the Desire HD will be a phenomenal hit. It can do everything the Desire can do and yet do it better. When it comes to entertainment, photography, socialising, messaging or just browsing the web there are not many phones that consistently perform to the same standard as the Desire HD.
