Why compare with us?

South Korean LG Electronics, the world’s fifth largest mobile phone maker gets to market a new Windows-run LG GM750 smartphone under Vodafone. It is a real looker with a slim 109.8 x 53.5 x 12.9 mm measurement on a classy touchscreen monolithic slab one can easily mistake as a fashion accessory. But the LG handset is more than that – with decent upscale features that should appeal to the corporate markets as it only comes in a very serious color - black.

Advance Features for the Upscale Business Crowd

Powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor and running the MS Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro customized with the proprietary S-Class Touch UI meant to distinguish it from other generic Windows smartphone implementation, the GM750 gets just about all the necessary data connectivity for fast online browsing experience.

It is first of all a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and a tri-band UMTS with HSDPA at 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA at 2 Mbps on 3G. You also get WiFI 802.11b.h at 54 Mbps for hotspot surfing. It also has Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and microUSB 2,0 for wireless and wired local data transfer and synching, respectively.

The 1500 li-ion battery when fully charged yields up to 6.3 hours of talk time and 450 hours of standby time.

The LG GM750 boasts of true multitasking thanks to its Windows Mobile OS and with the S-Class UI, you get LG widgets on the homsecren that lets you go from one apps to another without exiting any. It gets preloaded with Internet Explorer Mobile and Pocket Office Suite as well as IM and email client support.

Rich Entertainment Experience On the Road

Upscale multimedia experience on the road begins with its 3“ QVGA TFT resistive touchcsreen display with 65k colors typiclaof most affrodable handsets these days. It also gets a superlative 5 megapixel camera using CMOS sensors, Schneider-Kreuznach optics and LED flash. You also get VGA video recording at a smooth 24fps. There’s also a front-facing VGA camera to support 3G video calls.

It comes with a stereo FM radio with RDS and the media players for MP3/WAV/eAAC+/WMA audio files and MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV video files.  Its A2DP profile on Bluetooth supports wireless stereo earphones and though it has no 3.5mm headphone kacj, comes with proprietary microUSB terminated headsets.

While onboard memory is limited to its phonebook and call record capacity for nearly unlimited entres and records, you can store all your multimedia files in a microSD the handset supports for up to 32 GB.
