LG KF900 Prada 2 deals & review

Introduction

The brand new LG KF900 or Prada 2 is the latest version of the old Prada phone from LG. I happen to own the old Prada phone and I have to say it was and still is a great phone to have – so let’s see if the LG Prada 2 is as good as or better than its predecessor. In terms of features, the LG KF900 Prada 2 has a nice set of high quality features including a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and a flash. The camera can also record D1 video which is great. So far, the phone is already beating the previous Prada model and I think it is set to be a great seller in today’s mobile phone market.

Specifications

The Prada 2 is equipped with a nice set of high quality features and I have to say on paper, it looks pretty awesome. It has the 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and flash. The phone also has high speed 3G internet connections at 7.2 Mbps, email and a web browser. The phone is also equipped with a great media player that can play all formats of music including MP3, WAV, AAC, AAC+, WMA, RA and AMR. The phone has a movie player which can play DivX encoded movies as well which is great for entertainment users who enjoy music and films.

In terms of memory the phone has 30 MB built in which can be expanded up to 8GB using Micro SD cards so you should have plenty of space for songs and a couple of full length movies. The phone also has a document viewer which is handy for business users and means you can check your emails and documents with ease. The phone also has WiFi connections which mean you can hook up to high speed broadband at home or at work or at a local WiFi hotspot which is great for high speed downloads or sharing files between networks on your PC and phone.

The phone also has a photo and video editor which is great fun and means you can really enjoy the camera and all its features. Overall, I have to say I’m very impressed with the LG KF900 Prada 2 and I think it’s a great phone for personal users. The features inside are all very good and of high quality. The phone also has a sliding QWERTY keyboard which is very helpful for sending emails and texts and it slides out from the side of the phone which looks pretty cool.

Looks

In terms of its looks, the LG Prada 2 is very similar to the original Prada phone. It has a simple and sleek design with a large screen; the Prada 2 has a 3 inch screen which is exactly the same as the original. The new Prada 2 measures in at about 104.5mm by 54mm by 16.8mm in dimensions which is slightly larger than the original but I presume this is because of the sliding QWERTY keyboard which wasn’t available on the older model. The phone is available in Black which is always nice but it’s a shame this phone isn’t available in more colours just so that users can have a unique phone.

The new Prada 2 weighs in at about 130 grams which is a lot heavier than the original which weighed in at about 85 grams. I presume the technology updates and the camera have something to do with that. All in all, the looks of the new Prada 2 KF900 are great and are very similar to the old Prada which still to this day is sleek and stylish and appears to be a high quality phone. I really like the look and feel of the Prada 2 and I think I may have to upgrade from my original. 

Design

In terms of its design, the LG KF900 Prada 2 is a great looking phone on the exterior and I’m sure that the inside it just as good. The operating system will likely be similar to that of the original Prada with the touch screen user interface which was very easy to use and very responsive. I’m all round impressed with every design aspect of the new Prada 2 and I have to say I think LG have done an amazing job at revamping their old classic phone the KE850 Prada. The new LG KF900 Prada 2 appears to have been designed very well and if it’s anything like the old one in terms of software – you won’t have any problems.

Overall

All in all, the new LG Prada 2 appears to be an outstanding mobile phone and will probably be a great seller this year and next. From what I can tell, the Prada 2 hasn’t veered from the original Prada too much which is a good thing because the original was and still is a great phone. They seem to have simply updated the high quality features to be suitable for this day so instead of the high quality 2 mega pixel camera in the old Prada, they’ve updated it to a 5 mega pixel camera. The media player and memory have also been updated.

I really like the original Prada and have had it for years and it’s still working perfectly with no glitches whatsoever so if the new Prada 2 is similar then we can all be very excited about the release of this amazing mobile phone. I think LG have done a great job of renewing this phone and I’m glad they haven’t changed too much in terms of its exterior design. The much needed QWERTY keyboard is a great addition to the phone and I think a lot of people will enjoy using it to send texts and emails.

Overall, the LG Prada 2 (KF900) is a great phone and in my opinion will do very well in terms of sales. I think a lot of people who bought the Prada originally will be interested to see if this phone can live up to the high quality design and positive reviews that the original Prada received. So far, it’s looking pretty good and I think LG have created a great phone which will do very well in today’s mobile phone market – much like the original did during its time.
