All in all, the Optimus One is an impressive mobile device.

Now that its rival Samsung has taken a giant bite out of the Android market, there’s no other way for LG Electronics except to follow suit in order to stay in the running in the race for better featured smartphones laser-targeted towards the consumers’ different needs. This is why they are soon releasing the LG Optimus One.

Enter the LG Optimus Series

LG Electronics has recently announced its up and coming LG Optimus Series, a swank line of highly sophisticated smart devices which carry the latest advancements in mobile technology. Its goal is to lead LGs latest campaign which will bring to fore its capacity to simplify the user’s information-driven life.

LG Electronics is relying heavily on the popular Android OS to propel their sales further. For this reason, the company has announced the coming release of their latest Android-powered smartphones in the UK. The new devices – Optimus One with Google and Optimus Chic – are the first offerings from the LG Optimus Series. Apart from these mobile phones, they will also release about ten more phones from the Optimus line by the second half of this year.

A key marketing strategy

LG named the series Optimus because the term is the Latin word for “best”. And this is precisely what the company intends to deliver in every device that will come out of the Optimus line. The series will include LG Optimus One and othersmartphones running on different operating platforms as well as tablet PC’s with Android at the core.

By providing users a choice of operating systems and integrating advanced features and functionalities in their devices, LG puts the consumer’s interest above everything else which is the key to gain them more ground in the mobile phone market. The upcoming smartphone and tablet PC’s will range from entry level to high-end, with built-in features to fit the various requirements of every user. The LG Optimus One with Google and LG Optimus Chic will both run on the highly popular Android Platform 2.2 (Froyo).

Optimus One with Google

The Optimus One is the result of painstaking consumer research which studied the way mobile phone users collect information in today’s digital-dependent world. According to a consumer survey, finding information easily is top on the list of motivators when considering to buy a smartphone. The survey also delved into the likes and dislikes of consumers about the most sought-after mobile devices today. User-friendly features and quick response time topped the consumers’ list, as expected.

The LG Optimus One smartphone with Google will provide the most up-to-date Google mobile features as well as a fast and smooth connection to the web. The device will allow users to connect easily to Google´s Android Market to deliver a truly satisfying smartphone experience. According to LG, the device will come with an intuitive user interface, a fast response time and a raft of multimedia features that guarantees an enjoyable mobile environment which will make the Optimus One the most comfortable to use smartphone in the market.
