The Nokia 701, also known as the Helen, is a Symbian Belle powered touchscreen phone with a great camera and good entertainment features. Along with the Nokia 700 this will be one of the first phones to feature the new Belle version of Symbian that will introduce some improvements on the earlier Anna, and this phone is being pegged as the successor to the Nokia C7.
The 701 has a mid-sized 3.5" ClearBlack LCD screen that uses an nHD resolution. This screen is ideal for video watching and web browsing, and the 701 comes with YouTube support and an improved 8.1 web browser – making it one of the best Symbian phones for browsing the web.
This is all powered by a 1GHz processor, which will also make it one of the fastest Symbian phones on offer. Symbian is not very demanding on hardware and so this 1GHz chip will provide a lot more power than on a comparable Android or iOS phone.
The 701 comes with an excellent 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, flash and video support. The camera provides an excellent level of photography that is almost as high quality as the phenomenal N8. With lots of great entertainment features to play around with the 701 is a phone that will suit young and not so young phone users alike.
