Nokia N95 deals

Flagship products carry so many expectations from its target market. There are more chances of failure than if it were positioned as just another in your stable of high end products.

This is the case with the Nokia N95 which gets some mixed consumer reviews. While it is hailed as one of the most feature-rich smartphone on the planet, it modest battery life essentially pulls the rug under it as users won’t be able to enjoy its splendid features for long, unless you have a spare battery or get one of those after-market batteries with a higher rating.

What gives it immediate appeal at first glance is its compact dual slider form which is the first of its kind in the market. Measuring 99 x 53 x 21 mm which is bit thick, it fits snugly in your palm with a pocket friendly 120g weight.

This is one of the lightest given its wealth of electronics behind its rich features as well as a powerful dual ARM11 CPU each clocked at 332 MHZ and assisted by a dedicated 3D graphics accelerator engine.

As a smartphone it runs on the Symbian OS 9.2 with S60 release 3.1 UI and comes in five body colors to choose from – silver, plum, black, red and pink.

The brand new Nokia N95 is a great phone but I’m a little nervous due to the letter N in front of the numbers. Nokia’s N series phones are notorious for crashing and having severe software problems which render their phones almost unusable. However, I do believe that this time they may have got it right. The Nokia N95 reviews I’ve read don’t seem to mention anywhere about the phone having major software problems. A few peo...
