Orange Stockholm deals & review
There is only one reason possible for the naming of the Orange Stockholm, and that is its ability to kidnap you and make you fall in love with it. This pocket friendly handset is an exercise in Android excellence.
With a capacitive screen that measures 2.8”, videos and web browsing are a pleasure. It includes GPS, and offers both Google and Orange Maps support. The Stockholm also includes a full HTML web browser, so its converts can enjoy their favourite sites to the fullest.
The Stockholm is another excellent little Android offering from Orange, this time named after the Swedish capital, for some reason. Leaving Orange´s quirky naming conventions aside, the Stockholm offers a fantastic Android experience in a pocket friendly sized handset. Running on Android Froyo the phone comes with access to all the usual Android goodies from Android Market as well as some additional Orange features such as Orange Wednesdays, making this an excellent option for movie lovers.
The Stockholm comes with a 2.8" capacitive screen which makes the phone comfortably sized while at the same time being great for things like video watching and web browsing. The Stockholm comes with 3G and Wi-Fi connections so that you can enjoy the web features on offer in most situations, and these are excellent connectivity options to find on such an affordable device. The Stockholm includes a GPS system and comes with Google Maps and Orange Maps support, making it an excellent navigation device as well. Social networking support is provided via Social Life Web, and other fantastic Orange features bundled in include Orange Downloads, Orange Games and the Orange App Shop. The Stockholm includes support for email, photo and video messaging and chat messaging.
The Stockholm has a 3.2 megapixel camera that includes some basic video recording support, and also comes with a loudspeaker, headphone socket and support for microSD cards. At less than £100 the Stockholm is one of the most affordable smartphones running on Android Froyo and is benefitted by the additional features from Orange.
