The W995 gets 3G coverage with its single band UMTS (2100) radio with 7.2 MBPS on HSDA at 2 Mbps on HSUPA data speeds for fast internet access that define a truly remarkable online experience. It’s also a quad band GSM (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) on the 2G network for unimpaired international roaming on GSM with class 10 GPRS/EDGE speeds of up to 236.8 Kbps.

You get a WiFi 802.11b/g of up to 54 Mbps for hotspot surfing support. Local data connectivity gets Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and microUSB 2.0 for wireless and wired local data transfers and syncing. There’s SatNav functionality with its built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support and preloaded with the Wayfinder navigator apps.

Your mobile entertainment starts with a stereo FM radio with RDS and, needless to say, your walkman 4.0 music player which shake control and SenseMe as well as Tack ID music recognition. Video playback supports only MP4 video codec but it has YouTube apps for Flash video playback support.
