The Sony Ericsson W910i is yet another walkman offering from the mobile giant. Sony
Ericsson are looking to push
Nokia harder than ever for market share during the tail end of 2007 and
into 2008. The W910i will be released alongside the
Sony Ericsson W960i, both look incredibly stylish and promise to hit the
market with a bang.
The W910i is a slider phone, a design feature that is growing amongst the developers
at Sony Ericsson. Traditionally other walkman phones such as the
W880i have been candy bar in shape and this represents a fresh approach
catering for different preferences in the marketplace.
The W910i is the first offering from
Sony Ericsson to supports HSDPA download speeds. This means downloads of
songs will be completed in seconds rather than minutes. The new desktop software
and motion sensing controls are also welcome additions to this much awaited handset.
The W910i has plenty of motion sensors to shout about. It will change from landscape
to portrait much like the iphone. You can also shake it from left to right to move
forward a track, right to left to move back a track and shake randomly to, well,
randomize the track listing.
The w910i promises to be a big hit with previous walkman phone owners. Sony Ericsson
has focussed on what it has traditionally done best and tried to do it better with
a high degree of success. A truly awesome
mobile phone
