    T-Mobile offers three main types of Pay As You Go contract, each of which provides particular benefits.

    Text Plan: This plan is intended for those who use their phones mostly for texting. Standard text messages cost less on this plan than on other PAYG tariffs and all customers who top up over £10 per month receive unlimited texts.

    Talk Plan: This plan is intended for those who mainly use their phones for calls. Standard call charges are lower than on other PAYG tariffs and all customers who top up over £10 per month receive 100 free minutes to UK landlines and mobiles.

    International Plan: This plan is intended for those who frequently make international calls. The plan includes discounted calls to mobiles and landlines in a number of countries and customers who top up over £10 per month receive 60 free international minutes.

    T-Mobile PAYG customers can also add extra services with ‘Boosters’. There are boosters to add various features such as international roaming usage or mobile internet. Boosters generally have a one off cost and must be used within a specified time limit.

  • Transfer Procedure
    • Select and purchase your new PAYG tariff from T-Mobile. They will assign a new phone number to you.
    • Contact your current network and ask for a ‘PAC’, which means ‘Porting Authorisation Code’. Your network should provide this either over the phone or in a text message.
    • Pass on your PAC to T-Mobile along with your contract details.
    • The transfer should take a few working days to complete after this

  • Data Allowance
    • T-Mobile offers three mobile internet ‘Boosters’ to PAYG customers who wish to access the internet through T-Mobile’s network: choose from 5 days access for £2.50, 30 days access for £5, or 6 months of mobile internet access for £20. T-Mobile Pay As You Go internet Boosters are subject to a fair use policy of 500 MB per month.
    • T-Mobile PAYG customers who don’t buy a Booster access the internet for £1 per day, with a fair usage policy of 500 MB per month.
